Room smelled of mod and made me sick. I felt like the whole room and everything in it was damp. The only positive there was a nice manager. Other then that machines broke and I would not recommend people and children who are very allergic to mold to stay.

Needs some tender loving care. It is ok to be dated but duck tape on the screen door isn't acceptable. Wooden planks on the deck that are loose and warped is dangerous. A coat of paint would do nicely. Very nice cleaning woman seemed to really care about the appearance but even her talents are limited.

Blue sky motel was a highlight of our trip to Gettysburg. Rooms were lovely with pine board walls . Every room has a back door with a semiprivate deck. Grounds we're beautiful

Blue Sky Motel is a nice little place north of Gettysburg. The motel is older but very clean. For the price the rooms are perfect!
We have two rooms for the week. One room is the suite and the other is a standard room. The suite has a nice kitchen, couch, table and chairs, and a great deck. The second room is a smaller room with a fridge and microwave.
The motel is pet friendly and has a large grassy field behind the motel for the pets. There is a small play area, grill, and pool near the office.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others in the future.

Very friendly family owned motel. Price was very reasonable. Room was clean and nice. We had a nice deck to sit on. There's free coffee in the morning or you can bring your own since there is a coffee pot, mini fridge, microwave and toaster in your room. The bed was so comfortable. We were quite impressed and will definitely be back in the near future to visit.

My room was very dated with old paneled walls. The blanket was very worn and, the bathroom very, very, atrocious with a terrible bath tub and toilet. Very reasonable price and quiet surroundings.

Just a simple place for a fair price. Property managers were very accommodating, friendly, and generous. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Unreal 'old school" experience. Nice clean rooms as expected but host/managers Terry, his wife and kids made us feel like family. They invited us to eat delicious crabs in picnic area. Other guests cooked and shared ribs and bratwurstno need to go out for dinner. Pool was super clean and great place to relax. John Gannon N. Wales, PA

It's dated, not a place to go if you are looking for a High rise Hotel experience, but very clean, good size room. Great for family with kids. Kids can play outside with plenty of room to run. Safe for kids as it is away from traffic being in the country.Private decks on the backside of each room. In the country and far away from the traffic and noise. Very quiet and peaceful in the morning sitting out on the back deck. Not your hotel experience, but not a feeling of being stuck or confined in your room. Had picnic tables, bench swing, outside social gathering area. Family and friends can sit out at night and BBQ and have a camping like experience. I'm from Canada and go to Gettysburg quite often. I would definitely go there again. It's like a camping experience rather than a Hotel room. You definitely cannot be the price as well. The owners and managers are very friendly and courteous. Kids who like to be outside and play would enjoy this motel over a high rise Hotel.👍
