Amazing place. We stayed in the Major Leaguer and it was perfect. Check in was very easy. Breakfast was homemade and fantastic. This will be our go to place when we visit and can’t wait to try out different rooms.

This is such a charming little inn. The 15 rooms have different themes. We stayed in The Water Lily room and it was beautiful. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. The free breakfast in the cozy dining room was home-cooked in a little kitchen when you got there. Then first morning we had fried eggs, biscuits, a sausage patty and gravy. There was a sideboard that had fresh fruit, oatmeal, and bread for making toast. The second morning we were served a red velvet crepes filled with chocolate, strawberries and a sweet cream cheese filling. It was incredibly good! The regular sidebar was there and it also had a delicious egg frittata there with fresh spinach and fresh tomatoes. We will definitely stay there again. It was so peaceful and restful.

Stayed march 12th this year. Room was real nice. Had cookies and banana cake for treats. Lady was real nice also. She served strawberry creame crepe plus few other things for breakfast. Also had coffee by front desk

A country home experience:
I checked in on a very cold January day to find that I was the only guest expected that weekday. I hesitated a moment--wondering if I was to meet an unexpected ghost experience. No such experience materialized--just a warm, comfy Bed and Breakfast visit.
Over the top was the breakfast by Jo. She even came in early to accommodate my schedule. I will be happy to visit again should my travels go that way.response / report this review -

Charming place with great service. Every room has a different theme. The included breakfasts were fantastic. Perfect location for a visit to the Amana colonies.
