I'm sorry I didn't discover this gem sooner, and I'm heading back west this weekend. Prices were extremely reasonable for fresh delicious sushi, the space itself was inviting and beautiful, staff were wonderful. I'm certainly going to try to fit in one more visit!

The Sea Bright roll and the California Roll bento box very deliciously flavorful. This place has a tiny entrance/waiting area and was packed the first night we dropped in so we did take out. Worth it!

My experience here? Didn't stay long enough to find out. Looking for a place to celebrate my military friend being home from military training we wandered into Yumi. After telling the hostess we needed a table for 5, she looked me up and down, saw tht I was black and told us that there weren't any tables that could fit 5. My friends and I looked confused because the place was not busy at all and there was a series of tables that could fit at least 12-15. We told her that there was also two tables outside that were free but just needed to be cleaned off, but again she stated that they do not have any tables to fit 5. I guess that my friend's and I military service is no good here. Never returning again.

Amazing food options. Chef is an artist and provided wonderful on the fly dishes. Never once had a bad meal ever! You will fill up very quickly with the portion sizes, more than enough for several 5 year olds!! Will always return as this is the best sushi place we have been other than Japan itself.

Yumi was at one time my favorite place, until 5 years ago the owners got greedy and cut the fish content in each roll or piece by 50 %, and still raised their prices.
As an avid foodie and sushi lover, if the quality matched the pricing I would be happy to pay premium prices.But this is not the situation at Tumi. I have other friends who agree and we now say how we all leave hungry.
There are MUCH better options if you do a Google search.Yumi went from 5 to 2 stars in my book since they got greedy.If you work hard for your money don't waste it!

Yumi is my favorite restaurant in the area. The sushi and sashimi is the best I've ever had - extremely fresh - it melts in your mouth. This is not a Japanese restaurant, it's an Asian Fusion restaurant. Although sushi is the star here, there are many other great appetizers and entrees. Check out their menu on their website and you'll see all the great choices. I have never been disappointed by anything on the menu. And I've always found everyone there so friendly and accommodating. Give Yumi a try. You won't be disappointed!!
