They should have a HIGHER rating for Yuki Yama. The service is top notch and they do not miss a beat from clean plates, filled glasses and constant checking on their customers. Now the food, oh my what a quality place. They know Sushi, can help direct you and will make right anything to ensure your experience. For those on a romantic date they have a great little section in the back with a open seating theme. Great place to celebrate a birthday with family! Many thanks
This place had great quality sushi with a host of creative making (roll) options. The service was also top notch. I enjoyed their tuna nigiri and there were options for the people in my group that don't like eating raw fish.
However, I'm docking a star because it seemed like we got very little sushi for the high price we paid. I think this is partly because it's in Park City and partly because there are scant sushi dining options in Utah in general. If the sushi was better priced, I would rate this 5 stars, hands down.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME there. Service was horrible and food was not great. This place is overrated.
I can not say about Food much since we did not try verity of food. But defiantly tuna is very high quality and service was great. Server Elena was excellent even it was about to closing time she tried to explain all the detail. So nice and we were so pleased by her hospitality.
What a great experience. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the Yama-mame as an appetizer and it was a bit spicy but so flavorful. We selected 4 rolls - Crazy 88, Chiller, Jupiter & Spicy Tuna. They were awesome and some of the best sushi we've ever had. We really enjoyed the Chiller (spicy - so watch out) and the Jupiter. We sat upstairs overlooking the Main Street. Totally lives up to the hype. Go!! Now!!
I'd absolutely love to give a 5 star review to Yuki Yama but that's just not what my experience was. The sushi was made quick, our waitress was nice and helpful, the atmosphere was setup to be great. On the other side my sushi was very subpar, almost every single role fell apart and it's crazy for the price of the sushi. The most frustrating part of the night was being placed inches away to a table with 2 couples whom we're extremely loud and vulgar to a very obnoxious level. You'd expect this at a bar or a club down the street but not at a quality restaurant. There are several other open tables which was frustrating that we were inches from this table. I think this place is very close to being good but I can't say I'd come again.
Food was nothing short of spectacular and the service was phenomenal! You won't be disappointed
Rolls were stale. Nigiri was excellent. Service was excellent.
Menu is v limited. Few drinks options, limited sushi options.
Sort of like a mini sushi restaurant.
Sushi options were limited, and not very creative. The rolls we did get just fell apart trying to pick them up due to poor wrapping - we had to ask for a spoon to eat one roll. At least two rolls were so bland we had to ask for a side of eel sauce, which was disappointing too. The eel sauce was the sourest I've ever tasted - not sweet or savory. Maybe our sushi chef was just new..
We sat at the bar, and we couldn't help but notice the guys whispering to each other and looking at guests, and then bursting out laughing. Not very professional at all, and it made us feel uncomfortable.
Amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere for families and couples. We celebrated our anniversary here this year and had a great time. The staff was very informative and was willing to give us examples and samples to help make our decisions. One of the best sushi meals I've had outside the Pacific Rim.
unbelievably good sushi, can't remember ever having better, worth every penny!
Absolutely fantastic! Service is amazing, great experience. The food is unbelievable, by far best sushi joint I've been to.
Great sushi. Wait staff excellent. Great value and price for park city
Service was good, sushi was good. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Good place to go if you don't want to pay $25+ per entree.
Incredible food. Everything, seriously, was so good. Half our party doesn't eat fish and they still had plenty of amazing choices. Our server, Dave, was the man. Really took care of us.
