I bought a car 2007 Saturn outlook a little over a year ago with less then 100,000 miles an it now has 104,000 miles an the transmission needs to be replaced already .this place has cheap cars that if you have bad credit the screw you over ..I put 1000 down also even after I was told 0 down ..jay was my salesman ..they are unorganized .slow I was there over 4 hours waiting on my car ..this place sucks I would not ever go here again ..they really need to replace my trans for me ..since I aint even had the car that long but they are crooks

I worked here for two months, the owner has limited banks to help get financing done, the finance guy has no clue to what is going on. Daily activities such as maintenance on vehicles and mechanical maintenance are done on a whim. The owner is a control freak

James is a liar and not an upfront person .. if he represents Ypsi imports well. Hello everyone, I am very upset at this time because I just left Ypsilanti Imports. I just had the absolute worst experience with this dealership. I contacted James about the No Money Down program a couple of weeks ago, and because I live in Detroit I made an agreement with him to send him id and income information to see if my husband and I would qualify for a vehicle so that I wouldn't have to drive out there if it wasn't feasible. He received my information, and about an hour later told me that I was approved, and to come see him that day. I made arrangements to come see him on Thursday ( today) since my husband and I were cosigning and he had to work he was fine with that and we hung up. I realized that I needed a little more clarity of what I was approved for. I called him back immediately ( we are talking 2 min folks) and he answered the phone and told me that I was approved for the no money down program.I called him before I left my job and advised him that I was on my way by messenger and text. He acknowledged my text and I proceeded to catch a Lyft right after work today to go and see him. When I get there he asked for the original check stubs and the original ids. We produced that for him. He walked around for about 20 min and then said that he would pull a car around for us to see it. Considering we didn't get a chance to talk about the financing that I was approved for I asked him to tell us what the interest rate would be and what cars we would be approved for. He took about 20 min and came back with some questions for us about our licenses. I have a TN license. He told me that MI requires that they run a check to see if a vehicle be registered, and because I have TN license he told me that he could only find one company that would finance us. This is not what he told me over the phone. He then told me that I needed 2000 dn. I advised him that he wasted my time and my money. He told me he would eat that but he is very busy and he forgets sometimes. He then said now that we are pass that what can you do about this 2000.00! At this point I had to advise him that even if I had 2000.00 surely he didn't think I would give it to him. Now I have to get back home to Detroit by Lyft again. I wouldn't spend my money at this dealership. It cost me 70.00 to get to Ypsilanti and back and he didn't even care. I could see if I hadn't been in contact with him, however he had 3 times to tell me that he hadn't run the information. I have a big issue with this. My issue is not about the money down it is about the lack of concern for what I originally requested from him. I don't have a car please see if you can help and instead of doing that he just lied to me. If anyone asks me about Ypsilanti imports I will advise how I was treated and will not recommend them to anyone.

I bought a car from there about a month and a half ago. My sales man name was Samuel ( Sam) like my name. I have purchased many cars in my life time but this was hands down the best experience I have ever had in car buying. Sam was honest, and up front with everything he said. Usually that doesn't happen when Buying a used car so I was really impressed. The car is clean with low miles with a warranty and he got me financed within a few hours. I suggest you go there and ask for Samuel( Sam ) I don't think you will be let down. If you see this Samuel thanks pal I'll be sending everyone I know to ya.

Only worried about the sale they got me into a 2013 LaCrosse which is a great car only to find out that no inspection was ever done. 2 of my tires were bald, the brakes were worn all the way down, the car was never properly detailed, and there is rubbing noise in the front end that no one seems to hear or is able to fix. The owner is very shady and will tell you what you want to hear to shut you up. But once the financing is done and you drive off the lot, its basically F*** the customer. I bought the car in march and have had to bring the car in almost 3 times a month since. Do yourself a favor and dont set yourself up with these scam artist. You can get good financing as WELL as good service elsewhere

Me and my wife bought a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse back in September of 2015. Chris Curtis was our sales person. We had a great experience buy the car Chris was very help and knowledgeable about the car we where buying. He also was able to get us a second key for the car because all it had was one. We will be doing business here again when we need another car.
