A beautiful view for wine tasting. Plenty of seating and open space for groups or families. The staff is knowledgeable about their product and quick to assist.
My daughter and I visited the winery last Saturday and stayed about 20 minutes. The place is beautiful but service was lacking, and when we asked about a cheese tray or something to eat, we were told to look in the frig as they had some cheese trays. They were very skimpy with a small pack of crackers, some store bought pepperoni in a bag and a few truffles for $16.
When we asked were the gift shop was we were told it was on a folding table in the wine tasting area. We were very disappointed as others had told us how nice it was. We left and went to Kaya Winery in Dahlonega which has everything, including music and reasonable prices.
Best winery, vineyard, tasting room and event center north of Atlanta. One of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen was at Yonah Mountain Vineyards!!!!
Amazing owners and staff!!
Wines were good and the atmosphere was beautiful. Didn't feel welcomed by staff and felt rushed. I think it was partially because the person working with us was not as knowledgeable about the wines or felt we wouldn't spend the money they wanted us to spend. I ended up getting a bottle but was tempted not to because I felt snubbed a bit when we came into taste.
This is a California style winery, not a N. GA restaurant that happens to make their own wine. The wines are all locally made from both estate grapes and high end west coast stock.
Amazing vineyard, hidden gem of North Georgia. Had a great tour from the owners son, their story inspired our new perspective on local wine! Definitely a 10/10, highest recommendations

Absolutely TOP NOTCH Winery!!! ^_^ My Daughter and I, "stumbled" across this gem of a place, by way of a map search, on my smartphone. We had been to another winery, not too far from this one, on several occasions, but we were looking for something new. From the moment we drove through the gate, we were blown away by the beautiful setting, and then we walked inside the building, and were awestruck!! Every detail of Yonah Mountain Vineyards, has obviously been crafted and maintained with loving care.
From the lovely young lady (Jordan) who poured our wine, to the owner Bob, who came over and introduced himself and chatted with us, the elegant, yet relaxed charm of YMV, is evident. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS PLACE!!! ^_^
We will be back.AGAIN, AND AGAIN!! ;-) ^_^
Beautiful and tranquil place. Delicious wines.
I specially like Genesis wine. I will definitely come back
Absolutely gorgeous grounds and really nice and attentive staff. The wine was amazing the black label white wine was so refreshing on a humid day. Loved the Charcuterie plates ready in the fridge is a nice touch. We had done a 6 mile hike and were so hungry it was nice to be able to grab a snack quickly.
Facilities were awesome for a wedding. Staff was great. Watch out! The event coordinator will whip you.
Wonderful winery: beautiful building and great wines. Nice staff, well worth the trip. Provided top-notch Riedel glasses that you get to keep! Also love the Tesla chargers.
This winery is OTT (over the top)! We are slowly developing a list of go to wineries in North GA and this one is second on our list behind Wolf. Can't wait for the Genesis 8 to release. Totally in love with the Estate Meritage. Only wish there was a greater variety of food options.
Love this place. A great atmosphere and a wonderful little vineyard. Tucked away on it's own estate, the wine flights are worth the visit. The view is gorgeous from their rear balcony. They had live music when I visited as well. Will return
Yonah Mountain is the premier winery in the North Georgia mountains. The owner takes pride in his facility and his wines and it shows in the meticulous details of the property and wines. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I will admit the prices are higher than others in the area, but since this winery is top of the line, it's fair. The only reason it is missing a 5 star review is that a winery of this stature should expand it,s food selection from a cooler with sandwiches and cheese to an in house kitchen
