I came across Max's shop to help evaluate my fit and position on an existing road bike setup. Max spent an hour with me and was very patient taking all my measurements, evaluating my riding style, and providing great advice that led to making adjustments to get me in a more comfortable and powerful position. He knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

I've had multiple excellent experiences working with Max at Yellow Jersey and I highly recommend his shop for high quality bikes, gear and service (and he may even throw in some free advice on how to ride fast(er). Not only did Max fit and build a top-notch bike for me (Boardman SLR frame, HED wheels, Ultegra Di2), in the price range I was targeting, but he also sold off components from my old bike and handled a warranty claim for a damaged frame which he used to build me a back-up bike. He's super-responsive, knowledgeable, efficient and overall a pleasure to work with.

I came across Max and Yellow Jersey Cycle by accident. I was researching a new road bike over the internet and stumbled upon the shop. It turned out that a very good friend was already a customer and recommended Max very highly. I visited the shop for a consultation to discuss why I wasn't in love with my current ride. Max did a comprehensive fitting and put together a great new bike for me that fit me perfectly. I'm now riding more miles and enjoying my time on the bike more than ever. There are a lot of bike shops in the area, but Yellow Jersey is at another level. There's an art and finesse to matching someone with the right bicycle and Max has that sixth sense that makes all the difference. When you're spending a significant amount of money on a hobby, it's incredibly reassuring to have the guidance and support of someone who cares as much about the quality of your experience as you do. I've been recommending YJC to a bunch of friends. They'll be in good hands!

Working with Max was an absolute pleasure. Great service, great knowledge and an even better guy! From start to finish, the process was incredibly simple, which is very unusual in the world of custom bike building. And the finished product was outstanding! Very responsive to all of my needs, I have found Max to be a great resource for anything cycling. I look forward to buying my next bike from Max in the near future.
