Publishers of The Old Farmer's Almanac, the oldest continuously published periodical in North America. Yankee bought the rights to the Almanac in 1939, but it has been published since 1792. Back then, the Almanac cost only six pence (about nine cents). It's original formula used to calculate the weather predictions is kept inside in a black tin box. In 2000, Janice Stillman became the 13th (and first female) editor of The Old Farmer's Almanac.
