It's on the beach, what's not to like? Seriously, it is an older place but loads of charm. Go and enjoy your visit to the locals spots.

We just returned from visiting Myrtle Beach and had the pleasure of staying at Wyndham Westwinds. This hotel is a true gem in the Wyndham resorts family. It is located in the North Myrtle Beach area and positioned in a sweet spot along the Beach. Every room in this resort is Ocean Front. We had a spectacular view from the 9th floor. The rooms were recently renovated and look great. Very clean and spacious. When you get to the pool you are literally 17-18 steps from the ocean! The resort is very close to Kings Hwy right across from The House of Blues, lots of shopping and restaurants. We will be back later this summer! A must stay if you are in the area.

I've been a Wyndham owner off and on for 10 years I always stay and oceans Boulevard and this was the first time we stayed at the Wyndham Westwinds we got there about 20 after 4 I went inside to check in it took about 4 minutes I went to get my parking pass waiting for the gift so I could take the timeshare sale but there wasn't any the lady gave me my parking pass and we were right in our room we had a one bedroom deluxe Oceanfront on the second floor you're able to park basically right in front of your room everyone there is very nice and polite the place look brand-new like they just remodeled it the beds were so comfy the pillows were excellent this place is a diamond in the rough and I would recommend this to all my family and friends.

This place was top-notch! Very clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. The only problem was they need to fix the timer on the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi would not turn on because of a defective switch.

I haven't been in a few years, so this review may be a little dated.
My grandmother used to own a timeshare with them. She ended up selling it because she didn't go every year, but when we did go I thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were always nice and clean. The BIG thing for me is that they have a washer and dryer in the room. It was a 2bed/2bath room (room 502), so I'm not sure about the single bedroom units.
They have a nice indoor pool that lead to a small outdoor pool. They also offer games and arts & crafts.
Every time I go to MB, I look at this place first.response / report this review -

Covered drop off area is nice, fire pit area/patio/lawn is really nice. The pool area is hot and very humid, wish there was another way inside (you have to enter through this area when coming from the beach). The foot rinsing station is easy to use and works perfectly for adults, rinsing from the knees down. However, kids stand on the rinse platform and get soaked from the waist down, so be aware. Rooms are very nice with updated marble countertops and nice appliances including washers and dryers. Open floor plan is perfect for family vacations. Bedrooms are nice sized. Great ocean view. Heavy sliding glass door was a nice feature because the kids couldn't open it. :)

Very nice place. Ocean front. Renovated rooms. Looks like the staff really takes care of this property. Speaking of staff. All were very very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and want to come back.

The rooms are new and renovated. They are nice, but don't suit the needs for a bigger family. The pool is nice. There are a couple spa pools. The hotel is on the smaller size.

It has been over 5 years since our last visit. The rooms have been nicely remodeled. We like this location for it's less busy beach. Views are beautiful.

We stay at Wyndham Westwinds every year. The customer service staff is always the top of the line. This particular resort is pretty simple. They have a large indoor pool and a small outdoor one. They couldn't really be closer to the beach. The rooms are nice and clean. Avoid the Wyndham sales staff. If you DO run into them, take what you they say with a whole shaker if salt because they will lie to your face. The customer service staff almost makes up for the sales staff though!

Changed the2 bedroom layout to two queen beds instead of 1 queen and two doubles. Why? Standard 4 member family's don't want their kids to have to share a bed. Only slightly better for two couples. Maybe to save on sheets and mattresses. Also the pool has been closed for 2 months! They literally waited until the roof fell in to fix it.

The staff are always super nice and helpful. They have activities during the week for adults and kids. If you just want to lay on the beach or by the pool and not be bothered it is wonderful for that too. Fairly quiet, relaxing and family oriented place but also 15 minutes or less from any kind of attraction you'd want. It's what keeps me going throughout the rest of the year.

All rooms oceanfront. Laid back atmosphere. Rooms recently updated. Front desk friendly. Very nice place. Pool being redone this month so we didn't get to use it. Wish the 2nd bedroom had 2 double beds. Overall nice and relaxing.
