We went on a Saturday and it was very crowded. I would recommend a week day instead. We came right at opening and most of the food stands weren't open yet. We had panda express and it was about $15 per person for a two entree meal. I would recommend also getting lunch before entering the park. We were the from 11am to 630pm and we had a group of 9 of us. The most rides anyone was able to ride was 3 because most wait times are about 1 to 2 hours. People with fast passes kept waking on by and making the lines longer. The log ride had an issue and shut down right when we got toward the front which was frustrating. So then we went to oceans of fun. We were the for about 20 minutes and they had to close the pool for about an hour to clean up vomit in the pool. Meanwhile there were people smoking in the pool area and in multiple places on the park grounds which is supposed to be prohibited. We don't go out much right now, so this trip was kind of a bummer since we had to drive almost 3 hours to get there.

Went here for the weekend and had a BLAST!! We got the fast passes and they were so worth it. Honestly the Mamba was the best ride there. I’m terrified of heights but I really enjoyed it, I went multiple times!! I would get the fast pass for worlds of fun but not oceans of fun. There aren’t many rides in Oceans of fun that the fast passes work on. Save your money. Oceans of fun is still lots of fun. I really enjoyed all the tube slides.

This is nothing like the worlds of fun I came to years ago. You buy a meal thing and you have likes that will take up to 40 min to get through. All rides are not open. The restaurants are not all open and the gift shops are horrible now. They added a couple more spots to get alcohol because I guess I’d like it more if I was tipsy

Based off of early reviews I was not too excited to come here. But I was pleasantly surprised. All rides but one was running. With Fast Lane I was able to get on a ride with in 10min of entering the lane. You could tell they are a little thin on staff but they are doing the best they can. I was expecting a 3 star experience at best. But they did very well. If lines were moving more efficient I would give it 5 stars. But that could be due to low staff. Overall a good time though I wasn't at all let down.

The 2021 Gold Pass is one of the best purchases I've made. Great value and a great theme park for the family. The kids love Camp Snoopy and adults/older kids love the big coasters. There are also a lot of rides in the middle that are great to ride together. Some restaurants are better than others for sure, our favorite is the Panda Express. It seems to be the best bang for your buck and the quality is consistent. The park BBQ place is not amazing in my opinion and everything else is pretty standard. The season pass and dining plans really make it a great summer/fall family outing option, plus shorter visits are an option, which is nice.

Worlds of Fun is an awesome place!!! Great family rides!! The Fury of the Nile is the best. You do a great job of keeping the place looking nice!! WinterFest is awesome!! The lights, shows, rides, and the shopping is awesome!! You did a great job with the details. Please keep taking pride with the park and improving it because it's one of KC' s treasures!!

If Worlds of Fun had some sort of "fast pass" system to jump a few lines per visit, it would be amazing! I love the majority of the rides and usually spend a full day here in the summertime. However, a big portion of that time is spent waiting in long lines. So if you want to ride all your favorite rides come early. A season pass is a great investment if you're looking to go more than 2x in a season. I love that they offer fun family activities around Halloween and Christmas. I went to both this year and had a blast each time.

Largest amusement park close to Wichita, KS therefore this is where you go for thrill rides. Large paid parking lot, lines for entrance move quickly. Many various thrill rides, the big ones have longer waits. Be prepared with sunscreen and quick drying clothes and shoes. Skip the ticket with meal plan, I recommend eating outside of park with a picnic lunch. Food located on sight is rarely "good" but rather low quality, low taste, cardboard fast food. Thrills are fun, food is bland.

Grew up going to WOF all summer. It is a well kept place. Overall it is very fun and there is a lot to do. I'm all about the thrill factor and they have the tallest/fastest rides in the area. Definitely worth going! Haunt during Halloween season is also worth checking out - very elaborate.

Place is disgusting. Employees are extremely rude. No one knows the rules. My 6yr old daughter was left in tears because we drive an hour and a half to get here and because she had face paint on for the Halloween celebration they weren't going to let her in unless we washed her face paint off. They cited the reason is because they offer face paint and wanted us to pay $20+ to have it done there. We were passport holders we had been left in 3 previous years with her face painted for the Halloween celebration. This time we were yelled at and forced to take her face paint off in a disgusting bathroom that didn't even offer warm water or soap. I was also physically assaulted by a drunk from a DJ party being thrown at Oceans of fun, on their premises, and they did nothing. Could barely get security to escort me to my car. Was not refunded for experience or having to leave early they did not even apologize.

Love all the new updates they made since last year. Not as big as Six Flags but to me is just the right size. About the time I've made it to everything around the whole park I'm pretty tired. So for me is perfect. My last trip to Six Flags I had to pick and choose what I wanted to ride. I didn't have the option of riding everything in one day.

This review will be based on 5 subjects: Rides, Atmosphere, Food, and scenery.
Rides: This park has great rides, 7 coasters in total, with a distinct top 3, and has some good flats as well such as Steel Hawk, Detonator and Mustang Runner. I wished this park would get more attention because it has the possibility of being a GREAT park since they have so much space but just don't use it.
Atmosphere: Again, with this not being a huge Cedar Fair park like Cedar Point and King's Island, it will not get as much attention. That applies with the atmosphere as well. I could tell they didn't take care of the park as well as, let's say Cedar Point. Their roads are great! But it just feels more like a Six Flags park to me. But that doesn't mean it is bad, it just means it could use some work.
Food: Not much to say here, it just felt like typical theme park food. I had some pretty good chicken and burgers while I was here but nothing special that I noticed.
Scenery: Lastly, we have scenery. This is one of those parks that has some pretty good scenery if I say so myself. It is themed to different parts of the world, so like Asia (Boomerang), Americana (Patriot), Africa (Prowler), things like that. It is cool seeing the change in architecture as you navigate through the different areas.

Now for the final score. I give it a 4 out of 5. It is fun, but not the best.

We have season passes to world's of fun. We love it! Went to our first Halloween haunt yesterday, it was scary but family fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone even though sometimes the rides are down. It's quite pricey to do anything but you can bring a picnic and there are picnic tables in the parking lot. It's also an easy process to leave for food and come back. If you plan on going more than once season, you should definitely get a season pass, it pays for itself quickly.

I've loved coming here since i was a kid! Lots of rides to choose from. There's a small park -Planet Snoopy- designed just for little kids that's spectacular! The Haunt is a must if you're a Halloween fan. If you go, go during the week; it'll be much more enjoyable. Now that one ticket gets you into worlds of fun and oceans of fun (that's a great deal), going on the weekends is not a great idea. It's super crowded. We've been season pass holders for years and if you buy them in October for the following season, it's a fabulous deal!! Unlimited visits to both parks, discounts on food and tickets for friends and free parking! No pass and it's $17 to park! I'm looking forward to the new Winter Fest this year! 👍👍👍

I was really excited to go with my family to Worlds of Fun for the first time on June 4th. It wasn't busy at all due to weather (we spent 1.5 hours in the rain waiting for rides to open back up) which was great really. We rented an RV spot, which was really nice, but we had to pay extra to keep the RV parked until 9pm, or else we would have had to leave by noon. We paid for VIP parking, only to find out the VIP parking isn't actually any closer than regular parking when parking on the Oceans of Fun side, and had we known that we wouldn't have paid $20 a car to park there since we had free parking for paying for the RV site. Oceans of Fun was great, my young son really enjoyed the smaller areas and slides. Our biggest issue, and the reason I will not ever be returning to the park, came down to waiting for rides. Most of the rides were only running 1 car or train so the wait time is obviously increased, which usually wouldn't be an issue, but waiting 30+ minutes for a ride when the line isn't even past the platform seems ridiculous. Our longest wait occurred at the Mamba, which we didn't even end up riding because it was clear our wait time would have exceeded our allotted stay at the RV site. It was around 730 when we got to the Mamba platform, the line extended just out side the covered area so we didn't expect to wait long. Our plan was to ride then go eat at the RV and then leave since our check out time of 9:00pm was approaching. But, when we got in line for the front cart, we realized, it wasn't moving. They were only running one train at the time and they weren't rotating regular riders and fast pass holders/ handicapped persons, so if you were next in line to ride and a fast pass holder or a handicapped person came through the fast pass line, you would get skipped, no matter how many times you had been skipped before. We waited over 30 minutes before we decided to just skip the ride because we HAD to get to back to the RV and we ended up not having time to eat at the RV. The people in the first line had been skipped 4 times since they had made it to the front of the line! By the time we made it to the front of the line (only thanks to someone letting us go in front of them so they could ride with their friends) a group of 4 with 1 handicapped person were allowed to ride twice in a row without departing the ride. And if another fast pass holder had came up before that train returned, we would have been skipped again. People waiting nearly an hour decided to just skip the ride because it was clear they wouldn't be getting on so long as another fast pass holder or handicapped person arrived. My family and I spent well over $400 and we will not be back. I will make the longer drive and go to Six Flags where the rides are better and fair for non-fast pass holders as well as fast pass holders.

The rides were fun, the service was nice. The lines were ridiculous. 30 min to get food, hour and a half plus for rides. We ate at the diner in front of the mamba. We got burgers and fries. The prices were astronomical, 13 bucks for burger & fries. We had the drug k band for our driveway KS or it would have been more. The food had been pre prepared, sitting in the window waiting for orders to come in and it was cold and yuck! 30 min in line just to use the drink wrist band. Because of all of the lines we were not able to ride very many of the rides. Such a drag especially since the cost for admission is what it is. Mamba and Patriot are great rides. Everyone in my group seemed to really LOVE those rides.

Went on a Saturday, most of the rides were down (all the decent rides) due to power failure. So we ended up waiting in long lines for the less desirable things such as bumper cars and other typical fair rides. In addition to fast passes causing overly extensive wait times, the employees were allowing each other to skip ahead and ride free. This wouldn't be as frustrating of a problem if it were a normal day, all rides functioning. But on this day, half the rides were down. Give the paying customers priority! Employees can ride any other day of the week. Park is run down, needs a lot of maintenance and fresh paint. Employees are extremely inexperienced. Lines for food and beverage took way too long due to inability to properly manage time and resources. Will not be back any time soon.

The park could be so much better if they fixed a few things. The fast passes have to be the most broken thing rides are always getting filled by fast pass people that run from ride to ride. When I was there I waited over an hour to get front seat in the mamba and right before we were about to go they made us move to a different seat because they were about to close and wanted to get everybody on the last cart. Lines can seem short but becaus of fast pass people it can take hours to get on a ride. I was at the park from 3 till 10 and only got on 3 rides spending the hole time waiting in line.

Lines are very, very long (expected)
Some rides are down and it just opened for the season (understood)
Took 20 minutes to order expensive pizza (accepted)
Took 30 minutes to get cheese pizza after I was next in line for pizza and haven't had ice in the soda machine since we walked up, with 2 or 3 workers in the kitchen not making pizza (outrageous)
Won't be going here until I hear things have changed.
They could use a few pointers about options to keep people happy while waiting in line or otherwise not on a ride.
