Great experience staying here over the holiday weekend. Right on the water with great views. The rooms and building we were staying were getting getting renovated at the time, but we stayed in one of the rooms already.
This is a very nice location on the edge of Birch Bay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the staff person was overly aggressive in pushing their sales presentation. Still worth a visit, but be prepared for the pressure from the night time sales girl at the second desk.
The room was very nice and we got to check in early which was appreciated. Later checkout times would be nicer but it's understandable that noon is the checkout time. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot.
Beautiful resort, gorgeous location! Only thing to complain about was the lighting was arranged kind of weird. Had to unscrew a can light so we could run the fan in the master bedroom without any other lights on. Wifi was also a bit spotty. Staff were stellar however. Such kind people.
The condo we got was cozy and seemed well kept. It's just pretty boring around there and I don't like WorldMark, they lied to us and pretty much ripped us off. Then they made us do a 2nd mandatory presentation which took about 3 hours (during our anniversary vacation!) and pressured us and guilt tripped us even though we couldn't afford a time share (we're currently doing a trial which was a BAD idea). By the time they were done, I wanted to cry and was emotionally drained. NEVER go to their presentations unless you have several thousand dollars you can put down on a time share, otherwise you'll waste your time and get into serious debt. And NEVER, EVER do the "Experience Package" (trial membership) it's a rip off.
Very nice WorldMark resort just a little off the beaten track. Very picturesque area. Each unit has a gas grill on its balcony, the units are large and clean, there is plenty of parking and more than enough going on in the area to keep anyone busy. Friendly, helpful staff. Associated with Wyndham. Close to Vancouver and the Canadian border.
Beautiful view! The rooms could be better maintained. There was a spider in my bed the first night, as well as cob webs in the corners of the bed rooms. The shower head squealed, and the tub didn't drain well at first. However, we called the front desk, and they were very polite and fixed the problem almost immediately. The staff were friendly and provided plenty of information about tourist attractions, restaurants in the area, exciting events in nearby towns, etc. Even though there were a few initial bumps the first night, I absolutely enjoyed my stay overall!
This resort is located right on the water, and it's within walking distance of several shops, restaurants and a farmer's market. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with ample space, full kitchens and comfortable beds. Our room had a balcony with a barbecue, too. There are two pools and a hot tub, as well. I highly recommend this property.
Great view. Nice employees. Attended an owner update and learned a lot! Was asked if we'd like to purchase more points, we declined, and thankfully was not pressured. It was explained that we would not be offered this "great deal" again and would be removed from the special promotions. Perfect! We received our $100 American Express card and were on our way.
Good service, large and comfortable rooms. Great for those with kids.
The employees are wonderful and helpful. The room is really nice. My wife and I spent our 13th wedding anniversary there and had a great time. It's nice and clean. The only complaint is about the air freshener in the hallway. It stinks. Otherwise I would recommend it.
Absolutely live this resort! From a weekend away to a full week of vacation. The rooms are nice with everything you could need to the great resort staff. I have been coming to this resort for over 20 years now. Almost feels like my home away from home.
Recently updated and very clean. Staff were friendly and courteous. Only complaint is the room had a leftover cooked grease smell from a previous guest and the hotel wanted to deliver a "gift" at 8:30am that would take them 15 minutes to give you.
