This place is awesome! The best haunted walkthrough I've been too. The whole experience was great, actors and makeup were terrifying, definitely well thought out and so much effort put into every part. I don't want to spoil anything but there were "settings" that i had never seen anywhere else before, I highly recommend. And when we were in the waiting area (which had lots of stuff to do/see too) One of the employees gave our group a fast pass and so we got to skip the wait! Worth the money and the drive I would do it again!

My family and I have really enjoyed WOODS OF TERROR!!! We love going as adults but our kids and their friends look forward to this every year!! The staff is awesome, the makeup art is impressive, and each scene is beyond spooky! I especially love the accomadations outside of the haunted trail/houses for those of us that choose to sit out that part but enjoy the fire, the food vendors, shopping, dancing by the DJ stage, and viewing the snakes and spooky characters to entertain. It's THE best attraction for the season!!! Can't wait to return!! (Thanks~the Smith crew)

Amazing experience, everything was perfect from parking to leaving. The experience inside was out of this world, First class staff and first class production. They hit everything. We waited 10 minutes and a staff member came to us and gave us a card for fast pass. Such a nice guy and we got right in. Once inside, it was phenomenal, the props and cast was A+. Great job, I will definitely be going back and supporting this business.

Had a great time at Woods of Terror. I suggest everybody go try it.lines move fast and a great bunch of scary actors.and had food to eat.felt safe on the grounds.me and my wife will be going again every year.worth the 3 hr drive.thanks y'all.what was the spooky thing about it was my V.I.P pass number was 666,also my phone number is 6668,and we stop at Wendy's on the way home and our bill was $16.66.now how Kool was that.and they invited me and my wife back for free tickets to see it again.what a awesome place.

$5 cash to park, restrooms, ATM and fair style concessions available on-site. (Think burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken tenders, funnel cakes, candy, etc.) You will be assigned a movie name as your group and you enter the trail after they call your group. We got there early and had about an hour to wait as they didn’t start until 7:30. While we waited, there will places to take photos and a few shops and separate haunted attractions that cost additional money. They start with a playing of the National Anthem and a parade of characters. One of the kids with us (12 years old) became very frightened in the first attraction due to the small space. The character working that attraction immediately removed her mask and helped us escort her to the “No Scare” zone so the rest of the party could enjoy the haunted attractions, which we really well done. The characters took plenty of time to take photos with us. Everyone was very nice! We will definitely go back next year.

The woods it's self were amazing, scary, and tons of fun! But every single staff memember me and my group ran into we're so mean and rude. The security guy checking us in was the only decently nice person we ran into. Everyone else we came in contact with had a horrible attitude and was very rude to us for no reason. That's what will prevent us from coming again next year and/or recommending it to others.

The event was great, not the scariest but def worth the money, it was long and a lot of actors throughout the scene. the only disappointment is first the staff up front was very rude. secondly, as we were walking through the event the line kept getting longer and longer, it was not scary at all since we have propably 8 plus people in front of us getting scared and we can see everything already, and there was probably 5 plus peoples behind me and my friends. Third. the All access ticket is a joke, almost double the general admission cost and the only advantage was we can pretty much cut in line. General Admission would be the way to go people.

One of the worse experiences with security I have had. They are very strict when entering and include both a walk through detector as well as wand and pat down. The walk through process requires you to empty your pockets into a container before walking. During the empty pocket phase, I get accused of having narcotics due to carrying Nitrates (in the original bottle) for a heart issue. No amount of explaining, defending or even saying let me bring it up on my phone would would convince him. His response was he didn't need to see it, he deals with narcotics everyday and knows illegal drugs when he sees it. The gentleman in security grabs a sheriff that was nearby and gives him a quick overview. The sheriff immediately goes into his follow him to the patrol car while explaining how this was a felony offense and I would be spending the next bit in jail speech. Of course I explain to him the exact same thing although I am still be accused the entire time of having illegal drugs. As luck would have it, an EMS person walks by which I told him to ask. She of course immediately recognizes it and explains it to the sheriff. At this point he apologizes and goes into the whole he can never be to careful speech and does a complete 360 from a disrespectful hot-headed sheriff to your best friend. Of course he shakes my hand for being "understanding" at this point and proceeds to escort me back through the line and onto my awaiting party who was already inside.

Now I am not an expert in law or even drugs but you would think between your security guy and the sheriff, someone over the course of their life at least should know the difference between Nitrates and narcotics. I would think both of those roles (which often the security guy is a off duty officer) should be capable of identifying illegal drugs from something such as Nitrates which are carried by most anyone who has ever had a heart event in the past. I guess it's a good thing it wasn't something like an epi or insulin pen because I would have been accused of shooting up drugs.

I have carried Nitrates for 18 years now and passed through all manors of security including everything from airport security and even court house security for traffic tickets. Never once have I ever had any type of issue at all. Due to how quickly both the security and sheriff escalated the situation, it was quite embarrassing to me, my family and the other parties we were with. I understand now days, security is taken more seriously but if your security personal is that incompetent, how secure are you actually?

We attended the friends and family event on 9/17/16 which was their first show of 2016. This was our first time going to Woods of Terror and overall it was a good time. Just to save you some trouble you are checked by a metal detector by security at the front gate. No lighters, no flashlightsand that includes tiny lights you might have on your keys.

The attraction is about a 30 minute walk through various houses. I won't give too much away but you'll see some some familiar horror characters and themes from movies as well as some original stuff.

Pretty good variety of scares and I liked the glow band idea they use. You don't wear one, they characters don't touch you; when you have one on they can touch you. Very fun experience and a fun time.
