We were the only table there. Screwed up order. Mid rare cheese burger was well done, forgot cheese. Seriously just order the prime rib, they can't do anything else worth a darn.

This place has Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday nights, so expect the service to be a little slow, but the food was absolutely perfect and the waitresses do their best to make sure you feel welcome. We are here from Florida and I wish we had this place down there.

This was our first visit to the Wooden Spoke. Even though there is not a lot of money invested into the ambiance of the building. the food was outstanding. My family is simple and we didn't mind the very simple atmosphere. We will certainly be back again soon for dinner. We had the Bourbon steak with Baked potato and Ham & beans. For dessert we had Apple pie with vanilla ice cream.

"The Spoke" is always a good place to grab a bite. The Ribs on Thursday night are great and the Prime Rib is, well, YUMMY! We have not had a bad experience at the spoke!

We moved to Baldwin 1.5 yrs ago. We never tried it because it looked like a locals hangout. While remodeling our kitchen we decided to try it. Our biggest mistake was not coming here sooner. Awesome food, great service, clean atmosphere every time we went in. Our kitchen remodel is done but our visits to this restaurant will continue!

I'm a bit biased, but I look forward to eating at the Spoke every time I'm in Baldwin! Prime Rib is incredibly delicious, Spoke burgers are fabulous, and the homemade salad dressing is to die for. ♡♡♡♡

The facilities are clean and reminiscent of days gone bye. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by having lunch with our family at the Wooden Spoke. The restaurant accommodated the 10 of us with ease. The waitress was fun, and personable. Our orders were from large salads to buffalo-burgers to turkey-Ruben. Everyone had something different. We were served quickly. Each order was correctly prepared. Each of us left full, and pleased with our choice of restaurants for lunch. It was a very good experience, and I will recommend it to everyone. FYI, we live in Independence, MO, and never eaten there before, and we don't know anyone who works there. So this is a really independent evaluation.
