Food was pretty good and service wasn't bad but for the prices you could get the same quality for cheaper elsewhere.

This place is incredible on every level! I am from Southern California and it has been very difficult for me to find something that I like and this place had it all! The steak salad was out of this world and just everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Alyssa, our waitress, was on her job & whomever the manager was, THANK YOU FOR helping to make my anniversary the best ever. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem of a place at Granite City. BEST RESTAURANT IN KANSAS!

Not impressed with our meals. Wanted to go to a nice restaurant for birthday dinner. Got a spicy chicken sandwich, could have went to fast food restaurant and paid 1/3 of the price for same quality. Service was sub par as well. Probably won't return for awhile.

My wife and I decided to go out to a "nice" dinner. We hadn't been to Granite City since they opened several years ago. Even though there were only four families - total - in the restaurant, it still took 45 minutes for our food to be served. When our waitress finally served us, our food was cold. The meatloaf that I ordered was served on a piece of frozen garlic toast with cold mashed potatoes on top. My wife's steak was burned and cold and the salad she ordered was soggy with too much dressing. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Granite City.

Went there on a Sunday during diner time. No one else there. I ordered the Blue Cheese Burger with Fries. It was very good. I also had a flight of their Hoppy Beers. Tasted good and for under 5 dollars. They were trying to get rid of a certain beer, so they offered $5 pitchers of it, so someone at the table got that. Tasted good also. My wife got a salad, a steak, asparagus and sweet potato fries. She didn't care for the fries, but the rest was good. She does have nut allergies and even though they seemed attentive, she did find a nut in her salad. But no harm no foul. Daughter got the salmon with fries and she liked both of them.

Nearly everything on the Sunday Brunch was sub par. $18 with a soda and the only thing I enjoyed was the hash browns. The Prime Rib was more like beef jerky and the eggs Benedict they pulled an egg out of a pot of water and put it on an English muffin. We had "made to order" French toast which was hard and lukewarm at best. The sausage had no flavor and the eggs were cold by the time I had them back to the table. Service was awkward. The waitress didn't even offer the brunch at first and seemed put off when we ordered soft drinks instead of loading up on booze. I wouldn't come back even if it was free.
