Yeah - consistently crabby service. This is NOT the place that will draw you into Wolfborough, but you have to admit it is in an incredible location and convenient to the other reasons you want to be in Wolfborough. Food is not horrible but not good enough to put up with the service.

Rudest service I have ever experienced. So much so that we didn't make it through the door before we turned around and left. After waiting more than the 25 minute wait we were told, and seeing 5 empty tables, we inquired how much longer the wait would be. The server jumped down our throats instantly. After trying to explain that we were just wondering and not intending to be rude, she shoved menus at us and stormed inside.

First time owner made us feel like we were not welcome but food was good price was good so we figured maybe just a bad day. Second chance same rude woman had her kids there one working one sitting at the counter. I appreciated that she was trying to work and be a mom since I have been a single mother to 4 for years. Food came out wrong I questioned it she was mad and let it be known. Then just basically leaves it on the table left with no other choice I ate half of it. She even charged me the full price for her error, I only ate it as she left it even after I pointed out the mistake and left never even came back. Pancakes were not cooked all the way bacon burnt asked for eggs over medium they were so runny I could eat them. This coupled with that woman's Nasty attitude I won't be back. If you hate your job so much get out now and stop passing it off to everyone else. Years of owning a customer service based business and I never would treat people that were paying like that.

Maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had. Lots of fresh lobster meat, light sauce, perfectly toasted roll. Im definetly back tomorrow for one more.

While the food was quite good, the service was absolutely terrible. The only times anyone came to our table was to take our food order and drop it off. We were never asked how our food was and we never had our water filled. Our supposed waitress then hollered across the room to let us know that our bill was ready to pay. I very much felt like she was angry that we ever showed up in the first place. Again, the food was good, but not worth the rude service. It's not likely that we'll return.
