We're very happy with our specific truck, but Waste Management in the area has not been good. They first took free bulk pickup from every week to once a month (ok, that's reasonable). Then they started charging significant fees for bulk pickup. Then they kept our bill the same but switched from 2X a week pickup to 1X a week. We then received notice they'll charge us for excessive use of trash at $5 per occurrence. Then we received notice recycling is going to 2X a month. It seems they are trying to get rid of residential customers.
If you're not currently a customer of theirs, I'd not switch to them unless you're having real issues. It is a shame, too. Really like the truck crew.
Always on time and communicates with their customers about service reschedule times. Clean area after pick up, and courteous customer service!
I get trash and recycle service from this company. The drivers are through and courteous. If there is a change in pickup, their customer service communicates the change logically.
Service with Waste Management used to be excellent. Prior to the pandemic pickups were on time, and the fees were reasonable. I used to get two pickups per week. Now I pay significantly more than I did just a few years ago for one pickup. Understandably, fuel prices have increased. I have been patient. This week I was notified we will now have to download an app that will help us monitor whether we have been charged penalties for things such as having too much trash or being accused of not properly cleaning our recycling containers. Not a good business model. I will be looking elsewhere after being a loyal customer for many years.
This Company is reliable & has served my needs for many years. I see neighbors who switched waste removal providers 10 or 12 Months ago to save 5% on their billing, now have their cans out for days waiting to be picked up. The only skipped service was after a large snow fall that left the streets were blocked for 20 hours. My service runs smoothly weekly, Monthly & Yearly. Save yourself from headache & look into Waste Management. Thanl you WM. Regards, Dan.
