The original venue is something I miss, but the current place is great. A LOT more room to get around. The bartenders and staff are friendly. Even the decorations, the view of the Wisconsin River, and fish tank give the resort a touch of class. As for the food that includes the buffet, I enjoy it and never came away feeling unimpressed. Definitely worth the drive.

Did not stay, but had food. Been a few times & have not been disappointed. Pizza Buffet for a group & it was delicious. Also had the Friday fish, was good, service was quick, but our waiter was a bit forgetful.

I like that it's situated back by the river & it makes for great views on evenings it stays a bit lighter out.

I was part of "The bus" last evening, 3 large tables of 35 women in all after a long day of walking and shopping. Your staff did a phenomenal job of handling such a large group! Our server (middle table) was incredible, organized, efficient and smiled through it all. The food came in a timely manner and was good. Thank you for a great end to our day!

This beautiful location may be the cleanest and best maintained RV camp we've ever stayed in and we can recommend it without reservations of any kind. The lodge, restaurant and lounge, are a treat and very popular with residents in the region. Many RV pass through, but there is plenty of space, very easy in/out access, and a very accommodating staff. Late arrivals are welcome to pick a site and settle-up in the morning. An extremely quiet camp with forest on 3 sides and the wide Wisconsin River all along one side. Make reservations if you can.

Love the setting on the river. Good food with good selection. Nightly specials, daily salad bar as well. To popular at times can get a little busy for my liking. Nice banquet room with beautiful view of river.

I normally go back pack camping, because I go camping for solitude. However, this trip I went to relax, and that's what I did! The staff here is wonderful, and EXTREMELY willing to help.

The facilities were above standard. I mean, they have portapotties like any other campground, but there are also brick sheltered toilet buildings and showers, and of course they have bathrooms in their main building. I used the portas and the brick building, both were bug free and did not stink. I don't have to worry about anything nasty getting on me at all, so I felt comfortable with the most taboo part of camping.

I did tubing and mini golf, and the mini golf was included with our stay! I do plan to return soon; I am very interested in renting a cabin on the lake and to eat at their restaurant.

When I booked the site, I called and made reservations on the phone. I was able to do a late arrival with a morning check in. There wasn't a rush for me to get into the office, because I was able to pay over the phone as well. I wasn't harassed to wake up and sign in, at all. I woke up and did my morning hygiene, and then I went to the office. They had my info ready and quickly gave a receipt and car tag for parking. No vehicle and license plate form to fill out, which I liked.

The firewood usually goes fast, so I bought 3 bundles. I used 1 bundle a night, and the fire wood burned nice and slow! Adequate for cooking and light.

Since I arrived late, I was missing a picnic table at my camp site; apparently another camper boosted it from me. I've seen it happen, and I wasn't too upset. I let the staff know when I checked in, because i definitely needed a food preparation area. Within a half an hour I had a picnic table, I'm not even joking. I didn't have to harass anyone or feel like an a-- to get the accommodations I paid for. The staff also did not seem one bit bothered by my request, they were happy to help. And there were plenty of staff to help!

Bugs were not bad. I had spray, but that never usually helps. I got bit by mosquitos maybe 3 times the whole weekend, because my big spray was non existent after tubing. Bugs were a big issue at this place, despite the close access to the river. I never saw a tick.

I cannot say enough good things. My experience was great, and I WILL be back soon.

P.S. They also had ice cream!

this was a great place i had so much fun mini golfing and swimming! i was also very happy to be able to do laundry! it was beautiful kept and very clean. the only reason im giving four stars is because the shower is a pay shower so it cost more money to shower which was a little disappointing. overall a great place to stay!

Had a great dinner here with friends during the busy Art Fair in Spring Green! Great food and service even with how busy it was today. Get the Stinky Burger and deep fried pickle's were also great!

Extremely rude staff. I've been to restaurants all over the world and have never been so disrespected. I ordered a drink and some food. It took another bartender and 15 minutes to get the drink. I asked 30 minutes later about my food and was told someone else must have eaten it. Extremely disappointed and will not be back.
