Although my daughters experience at this high school was OKAY, it definitely could have been better. This school is filled with drug dealers and pill popping kids. There is a fight every week at the Valero across the street, and the teachers discriminate. There was this one English teacher Ms. Robison, she was being really rude to my daughter, at first of course I didn't believe her but my daughter showed me a VIDEO. She's not only discriminating against my daughter but a bunch of other students. She told this one white young man, "I would never expect you to tell the truth, because well look at you." I was appalled. I would not recommend putting your child in this environment.

Educating my 3rd child through the NEISD school system. Churchill has been the best fit for all three of my children. Diversity, academic excellence, tradition , school spirit, parent involvement, sports, student engagement. It's Here!! Once a Charger, Always a Charger!!

Where do I start? This school was horrible. Lots of d@uche bag kids that are stuck up . Had problems with 2 teachers in particular. They will single you out.. I remember the English teacher said in front of the class "I expected Doris to be late but not you" very , very unprofessional. She even called another student "miss ghetto fabolous " in front of the whole class. Absolutely no class and no shame . Oh and don't even get me started on the teacher , social studies teacher I think geography. I was actually passing that class until I got moved into her class room. Horrible teacher. She will spend half of the class period talking about how the students hurt her feelings. I remember she pulled me out of class because I looked like I "hated" her. Which confused me very much because I was just chillin wasn't even mad I explained to her that that is just my face. She wanted problems with me since I got there. She would single me out alot in front of everyone and was so rude I couldn't stand her. I really , really hated her class. She would single me out in front of everyone for just sitting there and threaten to call my administrator , mean while the other kids were talking and being very loud and she did little to nothing. Very, very unprofessional . I think her name was Ms. Robinson.& The English teachers name is Ms. Robison. Haha. The ASL teacher was very unprofessional as well. She had hardly ever talked to me and she told another student "you don't want your boyfriend around that kind of girl." Um excuse you? Think you're a little too old to be gossiping , very unprofessional like I said. My administrator was constantly watching me , I found it funny how she kicked me out of the school because she got "an anonymous call" so if it was anonymous how did you know it was true ? They will do anything they can to make your experience horrible. Only teacher I liked there was my old geography teacher. I can't remember his last name but I think his name was Bradley. Cool dude . Oh and of course Ms. Hernandez the ISS teacher was awesome. There's also alot of drugs and STDS in that school for it to be "top of the line " school. They had chlamydia going around the school lmfaoooo. So yes send your kids there if you want to deal with unprofessional staff and drugs. . this school doesn't even deserve one star.

To start out with this school made me vomit in to my little sisters mouth i was so discusted by the school colors. The lunch was bad it tasted like a pizza but it ended being a turkey sandwitch, what, this one sinor girl called me fat when i asked her out but i heard she was bumb deff and blind witch made me think that the help for special needs sucks which explains why they late me gradute any way long live obama

I went to Churchill for four years. It was a wonderful experience, and I learned and grew so much. I loved all of my teachers (they were wonderful), and I still treasure each one of the friends I made during my time there (they were all wonderful, too). Strong academics and great extracurricular programs (I was in the marching band throughout my high school career) make this school a great place for getting an education.

I did my student teaching & an internship at Churchill High School the year it opened - 1966 to 1967.
It was a very positive experience and a unique experience. I have only very fond memories of my experience at Churchill High School.
I had attended Catholic schools for over 16 years, so this was my first experience in a public school.
It was a totally positive experience and very enlightening.
I went on to a 5 decades career as a public school teacher and volunteer. It all started at Churchill ! I could not be more thankful and grateful.
What is beyond strange is that, even after a half century, I can still remember some of the students' names.response / report this review
