The atmosphere in the dining room was beautiful and sophisticated, the food was exceptional (fresh pasta made in house, extensive wine list), and the service was helpful and attentive - many suggestions were made to us that we don’t regret taking.
One (little) complaint: the lights were brought down when we were reading the menu, and though I could still read it in the low light with a bit of strain, my date could not and we noticed a few tables around us having trouble reading and using their phones for light.response / report this review -

The websites menu does not match the menu in the restaurant. The food was ok. You'd think a nice place like this would have the website up to date. When we asked about the online menu they made some excuse about google which made no sense.

Online menu completely different than actual menu. Traveled an hour only to be disappointed. Cancelled reservation on the spot.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Don't be misled by the fact that the restaurant is shared during the day with Gurney's hotel breakfast and lunch, which was terrible on all accounts. Our Scarpetta experience was amazing!

I would give 10 stars if I could! This place is amazing!! The best culinary experience I've ever had hands down. Our waitress Debra Lee went out of her way to make us comfortable on the patio at sunset. Providing blankets and outdoor heaters. It was our anniversary so the chef surprised us with a few specialties after explaining what we liked and disliked. The rare veal tenderloin melted in my mouth and the sauce complemented it perfectly. My wife loved her scallops which were cooked perfectly. The espresso dessert was out of this world!! Super friendly staff, amazing chef, hidden gem in Newport. Must visit!

Good but not outstanding . Beatiful views, modern decor. Pricey. Not as good as say Castle Hill if we are talking Newport restaurants.
