  Always great visiting here for the Thunder Over Michigan Airshow, I have gone every year since 2008. The airport itself has a lot of history on the grounds and the Yankee Air Museum and Bomber Plant are very interesting.

  Home to the Thunder Over Michigan air show hosted by the Yankee Air Museum. Always a great time there viewing the planes, however a few complaints about the air show:
  
  #They have a huge tented VIP area that costs extra money to partake in. This tented area blocks the view for 80% of the rest of the spectators.
  
  #They have blocked off areas where you have to pay a fee in order to drink beer. This is excessive and encourages people to "get their money's worth" by having more beer to offset the cover charge.
  
  #Most of the show is cash only and there is only a single ATM with an absurd fee attached.
