We come with a group of special needs students who love this library. It is a life skill we teach them, how to take out their own books and to learn how to behave in such places. We have always had a lovely time in the children’s room and the librarians are wonderful until we get up to the line to check out our books. Apparently it was a giant problem that we had a child still trying to find a book.. they are special needs so obviously they aren’t able to move as quick and can get stuck on certain things. Instead of being kind and patient the older woman at the check out was incredibly and unbelievably rude. I’ve never met such a rude person with no patience. Maybe she should retire if she is so miserable. Such a shame.

Had a great time at this library. The basement has a laser tag facility. The trick is, you have to find it first.

Wonderful, helpful librarians - especially in the children's area. Great place for the kids to play. Great programs. I love the art work displays in the Stedman room and hall.

It's a public library. Nothing fancy, but they have public computers, have online ebooks, and can get any book ordered through NY State shared system. Staff is helpful; if not particularly friendly.

The library has many books, computers, and study spaces if you need to do HW, read a book, study for a test, or prepare for a job interview.

William K Sanford Town Library One of my favourite places for study its provide free WiFi. I agree with others that the internet is slower than it should be, but it's serviceable. I'll continue to come by often, and one of these days will take in one of their exhibits.
