  Our favorite stop in the canyon. Lots of trees, and the small river further back from the road. There are picnic tables. There is lots of shade. The rocks near the river have a nice terrain for kids to climb on. It is set far enough back from the road that we feel safe. The parking is adequate. It seems like a safe place.
