Clean place, but not to much for little kids, raccoons are out of control they get in your stuff, animal fight in middle of the night, the old man is poisoning the food he sets out for coons, isn't that illegal? ? There was dead raccoons and a dead opossum, took them 3 days to remove them, campsite smelled from the decomposing coons, I wouldn't take your dog, they can get ahold of one of the poisoned animals and die, reporting the old man to DNR, what if a bald eagle got ahold of one of his poisoned creatures! !

The park is very clean and well maintained! There are tons of amenities to satisfy all members of the familyit's too bad the owner is so rude. Frequently yelling at her employees and multiple campers, let's just say it's ironic that her name is "Joy". Customer service goes a long way, and there are far too many options out there for people to spend their hard earned money here. The only way my family would return is if the owner sold and moved far, far away.

Very nice place to camp, bathrooms are clean, camp sites are clean and a good size. However, my family was having a reunion here and the old lady at the front check-in, who seemed like the owner was extremely rude to me. She acted as if I was a burden and basically scolded me. She made me pay extra and told my family she would never have invited us. Just a warning to keep this in mind when planning an event here.

This camp ground was great!! Went for a 5 day family camping trip and we had a really good time. We stayed in a 6 person cabin and they are very well maintained and have good space. The bathroom/shower houses were kept very clean and were in great condition. The whole park was clean, well kept and enjoyable.

Pretty good campground. A bit crowded on the weekend, but very peaceful during the week. Nice swimming pool. Wi-Fi is hit or miss depending on site and weather conditions.

Used to go here every year but its now way too expensive. You're talking big money just to put up a tent and camp, totally rustic. I can't imagine how bad people are getting ripped off if they have a camper or want to hook up to electricity. So this year I decided to camp on state land. I suggest you do the same until they lower their prices.

The campground is one of the best we have ever camped in, nice big lots, lots of shade from trees, great creek, playground and pool for the kids to play in. We will definitely be back again. If we have any issues it would be the lack of wifi and phone reception. The only other complaint would be that we saw several dogs allowed to be off leash, while I understand some dogs are very good about staying on their lot or with their owners, if the rules say ALL DOGS then ALL owners of dogs should comply.

Our family of four stayed in one of the 25' deluxe cabins, during a Sunday-Thursday visit. The cabin was hospital-clean and everything worked, especially the air conditioning which was definitely needed the week we where there. Four people are not going to be able to really hang out in the cabin, as the kitchen/common area is pretty small, but you don't go on vacation to hang out in a cabin. The covered back porch was great and looked out into the woods and a small, clear stream. I only have two small gripes about the cabin. First, the stove top burners (glass top/electric) didn't get as hot as the average burner top. It took well over 30 minutes to cook a pound of bacon, I thought it would never get fully cooked, but it did get done. Second, the shower diverter was extremely touchy. Very difficult to find a happy medium between ice cold and very hot, but it can be done with patience. To save time one morning, two of use went to the shower building while two used the cabin shower. The shower building was by far the cleanest I've ever used at any campground. There is no water temp adjustment, you just push a button that gives you about 30-45 seconds of water (it can be pushed in again immediately) and the water temp was perfect. As far as the campground itself, it is clean, very woodsy. Due to the trees, ravines and rolling hills, you can't see many other campsites from anywhere in the grounds, which is great considering how very large the campground is. The store has a limited grocery supply, but has the the common things. The food prices where remarkably reasonable considering it has no competition of close grocery stores. The pool was nice and clean and the staff very friendly and on the spot. When we where taken to our cabin, the woman who showed it to us noticed the fire pit had a few small pieces of burnt wood and some ashes, nothing that I would have even thought about. Ten minutes after she left, and before we even got all our stuff out of the car, a young lady showed up on a golf cart and cleaned the fire pit out out. We had a great time visiting many area spots and a very good experience at the White River RV Park & Campground, and look forward to a return visit!
