Service was great but the food was so overpriced. The portion size was so small and food lack flavor .

Pros - prime location with outside terrace sitting, good decor, lots of attention from staff.
Cons - portions are on the small side and don't offer much flavor (tried a greens salad and a trout dish, both appeared to be some what tasteless and the fish over cooked big time. "Drafty kill" beer was very good and somewhat compensated for the main dish). Overall considering the price over quality the items we tried presented a so-so value.response / report this review -

Had a couple of the cocktails, and they were both fantastic. The bartender was friendly and entertaining and he seriously knows how to make a drink.
We also had some food, the duck confit salad was excellent. The rest was pretty good as well but maybe overshadowed by the cocktails.response / report this review -

i came here for a quick dinner. they have a separation of fine and casual dining, but dont tell you what is available on each menu. I sat at the bar where you get all the menu options and I went with the fried chicken and the cheesecake. The chicken was interesting, it came with cheddar rice which was really well made but i wouldnt recommend this dish itself. I would definitely recommend the cheesecake though, its not a slice, but is really well presented and looks wonderful. It's all these little cubes of cheesecake on a platter, with a variety of other desserts around it as well. Also tastes great! I had the devils haircut to drink, really great option, i would recommend this if you are a whiskey drinker. I would say the prices are a little steep but I had good service and good food so I would definitely go back. $50 with tip for everything

Stopped in on a recommendation. Had a drink I asked for an Athena which they were out of stock ok the server suggests another sour beer it was fine. However, I didn't realize the beer he suggested was $21 dollars. I have no problem paying that if its something I wanted I though it was something close to my original beer purchase that was 7 bucks. Nearly 40 bucks for 2 drinks?? Once looking at the menu it said market price which if I was the server I would have informed the customer what that price was. We were planning on eating but the menu was so limited we decided to go elsewhere. The atmosphere was nice and balcony was perfect but overall disappointing experience.

Staff were kind and welcoming! We had found this place because of Opentable. It was a fantastic expirence! I suggest wearing business casual clothes however it is not needed.

I sat at the bar, the bartender was very attentive, if a little brash in his handling of the drinks and glassware. I ordered the Blackberry sage old fashioned, a nice, but not sublime, rendition of the bourbon classic. (The bartender set it down so wildly that it splashed onto the bar. It was almost cloying, but tolerable in its balance of sweet, orange, and bourbon.) Upon my server's recommendation I ordered the celery soup, which was flavorful, but overly thick and sweet. In fact I didn't finish it for fear it would ruin my appetite. I then had the Tuna Nicoise salad, accompanied by a glass of pinot noir. The salad itself was overdressed, but otherwise flavorful and garnished with flavorful and appropriately cooked vegetables. (The tuna was perfect. ) My experience was fine, but not something I'd soon repeat.

Great service but the food didn't match the atmosphere. I feel like something is missing. It was as though they were mixing fine classy dining with sports bar, but it didn't mix well.

Disappointed. Two years ago I visited here during Dragoncon and it was great! They offered the full menu and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Last year they were closed Saturday afternoon. This year they were open, but after a 45 minute wait we discovered that at 1pm only the brunch menu was available. At 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. If you're going to open for the Dragoncon and football crowds, then you should offer the full menu - especially after noon on a Saturday. We left after debating on eating anyway or trying somewhere else. The staff at the host desk didn't seem to care. The only comment we got was "well that's the brunch menu".
I would also like to point out that the table we were eventually sat at (after a 45 minute wait) was empty the whole time. You do realize we can see the tables in the restaurant, right?response / report this review -

Very Large Beautiful Location.
We had a great night out.. had beignets, great drinks, server was very knowledgeable. One of my guest had an allergy and they took additional time out to find her something she would like. Great service. The amuse was very different.. interesting.response / report this review -

More good news then bad news.
Good News:
-Food all tasted great which some other reviewers didn't seem to agree. Deviled eggs were great and so was my snapper. The pork belly as salty AF though.
-Atmosphere is really nice, probably my favorite thing about the place
-All the entrees came out at the same time which makes a difference but shouldn't have been hard when it was an empty house
Bad News:
-Service wasn't horrible but it definitely can improve. The waiters seemed kind of shy and quiet and when the place was empty they seemed to want to seat us in very uncomfortable seats. Other then that I really wish they were more lively and enthusiastic about their food.
Definitely worth giving a shot with some colleagues. The prices can be a bit steep though so beware!response / report this review -

Everything I have eaten here is so so so so good! I love that they open for lunch and stay open until the end of dinner, including a bar menu for that weird chunk of time between lunch and dinner. Their cocktails are amazing and give a little taste of the South. Their food has this appropriately restrained creativity to it--so that each dish is a pleasant surprise but doesn't shock you with too much novelty. Get the fried chicken!!! It isn't on the dinner menu, but it is on the all-day bar menu. Their dinner menu rotates often, so you know they are keeping things fresh over there.
