  I'll be honest, if I could give zero stars I definitely would. My biggest complaints, rent prices shoot up sky high each month and getting maintenance to your apartment is a joke. There was one time I waited weeks to get someone to fix my door knob on my front door. The ladies in the front office are always nice, but no one ever answers the phone. If the little things were fixed I might feel better about living here. As of right now though, I CAN'T WAIT to move from this apartment complex. I'll warn anyone else thinking this is a wonderful place to live. They'll leave you with a broken toilet, raise rent on you, and so much more. Maybe making this review will get someone to actually call me back.

  It is the "new" projects! Working professionals, do not waste your time moving here. There is nothing like having a peace of mind and this property is far from that.

  I have been residing in Whisperwood for two years. I called to purchase another gate key because the wait at the visitor gate is usually extremely long and I drive more than one vehicle. She told me I could not receive another gate pass to my OWN apartment. However when I first moved in, I was offered two. One thing for sure about Whisperwood is that they are not consistent. And the gate only works half the time anyways so I'm not sure why it's a big issue to have more than one in your possession if you live here. I can have two house keys but only one gate pass for a gate that occasionally operates, that's Whisperwood for you. I guess if my phone dies, I'm out of luck.

  My whisperwood experience was the worse. Maintenance takes forever to correct problems and when they do it isn't actually fixed. They have a lot of extra fees that make the $1000 "incentive" appear to make staying here a save (what's a ubfee?).They don't spray for bugs (but there is a pest control fee monthly). The gates don't work ever. Random people can get in. My car was vandalized, along with 5 other cars in my building (I have a police report) at like 2:30 am. People don't clean up behind their dogs. The pool is the worse during the summer because anyone CAN GET IN at least it was clean.. unsafe, unprofessional, and a waste of money! DON'T even get me started on them not answering phones.

  The area is lovely.
  Lots to do around there. It can get very crowded and backed up on the roads during certain times of the day .
  
  Front desk staff can leave a little to be wanted, but I did meet a couple VERY VERY helpful ladies who where always on the ball!
  
  Whenever I needed something my leasing agent did an amazing job getting it taken care of and attended too.
  You just need to be on it and patient if it takes a little bit.
  
  As for the neighbours : They could be nicer and a little more aware of the fact that they have neighbours . We had a couple who were always coming and going and leaving their dog locked up on the porch, to bark and scratch all night wanting back in 😔
  
  The place is kept fairly clean. I only noticed a time or two when a tenant left their trash laying round.
  
  As for the garbage disposal areas : Yes, they do get very full. And tentants do not always follow the rules on what is allowed to be thrown in the bin.
  But it is emptied rather regularly and never stayed over filled for to long.
  
  The gates did break down while we were there (one at each enterance) plus the exit gate never worked for more than an evening or two.
  We did notice a bad habit of people trying to piggyback on you pulling through the gate (people who didn't have a key or code to enter).
  Reasoning for the gate being broken was never full understood, but it was fixed within a couple days. The exit gate never really was repaired properly.
  
  Long story short. I was happy during my stay their, aside from a few bumps in the security department.
  Honestly, an update in security would be a great benefit to the place.
  But otherwise. I would recommend the place to my friends and family.

  It seems hit or miss with this place. They have gates and other security measures, but the gates are sometimes wide open. They offer a lot of things though and it does seem like there are nice people living there

  Been here for almost a year. Living in Whisperwood is like living in a large suburb exceptapartments. The landscape is general well kept (it looks nice), the staff is pretty friendly, maintenance responds pretty quickly to high priority items (like AC or the fridge), and wow the pools are nice. It's nice to see the large variety of dogs here too.
  
  My only complaint is the gate, specifically the one by the leasing office. The gate breaks often and gets left open anyway. Sometimes there are guards parked at the gates at night.sometimes. This should be a no-brainer for any apartment dweller, but get a basic security system. Protect America is pretty cheap.
  
  Overall my experience has been positive. I've been able to live quietly (within reason for an apartment) and comfortably. I will be renewing my lease.

  Absolutely terrible management. When moving out, we were charged for several damages that were already there when we moved in, as well as small damages that maintenance assured us were not an issue. When trying to dispute these charges, I was directed to management higher and higher up the chain (site, local, regional, etc.) until
  I reached a manager so far removed from the concerns of a single apartment that they redirected me back to the original site manager. Would not live here again.

  Great looking apartment complex!! Friendly helpful staff in the office! Reasonable prices! They have pools, tennis courts, a gym, play area's for children, a car wash, tanning beds, yoga studio, basketball area, and a volleyball area!

  Left Whisperwood with a notice, lease was also up the apartment was left clean and in good condition. The management company keeps harassing me about fines. I don't understand what the fines are for. I lived there for three years and was never late on rent.I would not recommend renting from them because they will charge you a crazy fine for trying to leave. They also go up on the rent every time you renew your leaseI am tired of being harassed on this bogus fine that they are just trying to get money for nothing. The reason for leaving was that the rent had gotten above my means and it should not be this hard to get out of an apartment when the lease is up and given notice!!!!

  Lived here for 2 years. If you ever call in to the main leasing office, you only ever get their answering service, never an actual person in the office on site. If you need repairs, it will get scheduled but no one ever showed up. Had to run my heat in emergency heat mode for the 2 winters I lived there. You pay for pest control, but they only spray outside. If you want them to spray the inside of the apartment you have to special request that and then they don't show up as scheduled either. When I went to get an itemized final bill for the end of my lease, I hadn't lived in the complex in 3 weeks but was charged for a full month of water usage anyhow even though my lease ended on a helf month term. When I questioned Carrie, the property manager, I was told it was an expense to cover water in the pool and irrigation of the property. Renters beware! There is no service while you are there and then you get ripped off when your lease is over!
  
  Also, you all don't have to contact me due to the review I left. You NEVER contacted me when I requested a call back while I lived there, so it would be pointless now. It would have been awesome if you all had called me back when there was a shooting right under my window at 4am and I took my kids to spend the rest of the night in the hallway. Thanks for the concern.

  We had a perfectly decent experience living here. Felt reasonably safe, enjoyed being able to walk around with ease, enjoyed the gym, and our unit had a great layout with a ton of space for the square footage. Lots of cabinets and storage space throughout. Great price.
  There were some critters here and there, some maintenance issues here and there, but we had an overall nice stay. Imperfect, but above average.
