This was a great little campground. The staff was friendly, the campground clean and easy to find (although an offline map is recommended for any excursions), and there was plenty of room for tents and cars. There’s even a little creek that runs through the campground!

Beautiful Campground. Pit toilets are regularly cleaned and well maintained, motion sensor light for at night, and actually don't put off too bad of a smell even on a 90 degree day. The campsites are well laid out, most having lots of shade and are right by the creek (sounds so peaceful especially when going to sleep). There is no running water anymore, so bring lots of drinking water and water to wash hands and clean. Bugs (gnats) are present but bearable (beats them being mosquitoes).
Each spacious site includes a fire pit with grill, a BBQ and a picnic table. Please burn local, host sells bundles of firewood or you can grab some at the ralphs on the way up. The creek is lovely to walk and listen to. Will be returning to this campground and highly recommend it.response / report this review -

Great camping place to go to if you're looking for complete isolation from the outside world. If you are looking for a place where you can get service on your phone than this is not the place for you. There is no running water or electricity on the campsites. Be completely ready to actually camp like camping if meant to be. The campsites are spacious, there is a fire pit with grill as well as a stand up grill for you're necessities. If you really need to communicate with the outside world then a quick 15 minute drive back out of the mountain will do it.

Our family went this place for the first time last week. The way to this site is easy and beautiful. There are restaurants, markets near on the way to the site.
Like other visitors mentioned, the campground hosts are very friendly. The campgrounds are spacious with picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a creek which didn't have much water running this time, but kids had fun looking into big, stones and trees.
There were some sites right next to 33 high way. The host told us not much traffic, but sounded like there were lot of viechle passed by. I also want to inform there is construction on 33.
Down side of this site was there is no water nor shower. We brought big plastic container and bought water at the market to wash dishes.
There are infinity of flies, bees and others. So be prepared for that.
Overall, my family had a fun. We will definitely visit this site again next year.

I'd definitely go back here if I'm looking for a nice relaxing place to camp out.
This trip that I'm basing this review off of was my first solo trip so I was looking for a lot of different things. Lucky for me I feel like I found most if not all of them.
The campgrounds are very spacious. In my site alone there were 3 visible spots to set up tents. Every campsite comes with a table, fire pit with grill, and a stand up grill. Parking spaces can generally fit 2 cars. Many people come with campers and I'm sure there are specific sites for those.
The campground hosts are very nice. I didn't make a reservation and the host gave me a couple of sites to take a look at and I made the choice after I made my round.
A lot of campsites are located right next to the creek so if you want that, make sure you aim for a site that provides it. I wouldn't get a site next to/near the restroom because the smell does rise up. I noticed the restroom smell especially in the morning as I walked near there.
There are a lot of flies and the hornets come at your food so make sure you do your dishes asap. I found that eating next to the fire helped.response / report this review -

Our family has been here several times and it has always been a nice experience. It is a safe place to be at. The staff is nice. Restrooms are clean and we'll lit. They make their rounds to make sure everyone is ok.

Most campsites are great (some are very small or in weird spots) and all have a fire pit and camp table. Some have a charcoal grill as well. The lower numbers are very close to the highway, so road noise can be a nuisance. I would recommend picking a higher number site or visiting the website and looking at the map. The whole campground is very shady and the camp hosts are very friendly. There is no running water, so bring lots of bottles for drinking and washing. Nearby hikes are fun. I would definitely go back, but not to one of the sites next to the road.

Great, easy spot to camp. We had a really big spot that was very private. Hosts were very nice and had free popsicles for kids on a hot afternoon. There were a few trailheads that we didn't get to in a weekend
