  This is not a coffee shop. It is the best bookstore I have come across in the United States, both in terms of the quantity and quality of titles on offer.

  Pretty much perfect. They have a huge range of books including one of the largest children's departments I've ever seen and a friendly and helpful team to help you navigate it. It was a real pleasure to visit it.

  Good old fashioned bookstore, without the musty smell! I can literally be lost in here, my kids too. Having access to this store will relieve me of missing The Strand in New York City. Of course it's not the same! But I am happy to have Chaucer's nearby when my beloved NYC is so far away.
