Newly remodeled with more shops to come, UTC mall has definitely stepped up its game! Also parking is much easier to find now that the new structure is opened. However, unfortunately, it looks as though parking may turn to be paid/validated parking in the near future with the installation of pay stations.
Great job guys there are some nice electric chargers. there could be more but best of all is the new Parisian vibe for their cafe area. The new public area are really sweet....!!!!
Very nice variety. It has lots of things, such as Nordstrom or Tesla. There is also an ice skating rink here! Even the chairs are so comfy, you could take a rest in them! There is also a food court with a lot of variety, such as Chinese, Thai, and Indian. Because of these, and including the ongoing construction to improve the mall, parking is usually hard here, so expect a long time to find a space!
The mall looks great now! After waiting months for the construction to be finished, the new Nordstrom is gorgeous and spacious. There's also a new Shake Shack! (The line is always long! But delicious and I'm so excited we finally have one in SD). The mall has definitely upped it's decor and is a beautiful place to shop, or even to go just relax and hand out.
More high end, high dollar shopping. Good selections beautiful and clean atmosphere. Food court around the ice rink is great and the outdoor eating area around the water fountain is just as awesome. There is a small playground for kids and parking is being expanded currently along with more retail space. Bus stop along side, the 805 freeway one block away and so close to the ocean.
Huge, gorgeous outdoor mall - eager to see the outcome when all the new construction and trolley access is finally finished. Nice blend of high end and affordable shopping, good community and a clean, safe location. Lots of wonderful dining options, both on and off the food court. Recommended visit, particularly for those who frequent malls!
This is a pretty good shopping centre but I think they don't have a lot of shops here. Although they are construction a new wing to the mall and so this might change very soon. Currently, even the access to the mall is blocked on one side which means you have to walk a bit if you are taking the bus. But this would also change once the construction is done. They sometimes have music performance happening near the water fountain.
This mall has really transformed into an upscale shopping area. Many new, high-end shops. Parking's a pain esp. with all the construction. During the Holidays, it's helluva crowded. I only come to window-shop and eat. It's popular with families and tourists.
Such a convenient mall with incredible food choices. Definitely not your normal mall food. Tender greens, eureka, etc and more new restaurants to come! Shops are great and the whole mall was recently renovated. Lots of fun outdoor seating and little play areas for kids. They also frequently have live music in the courtyard! One of the best malls in SD
Big fan of the ongoing and renovated mall. Used to live by here when it was the dead old mall, now it's lively and crowded. Can't wait until they finish everything. The food court is pretty good, love all the restaurants that are here as well. Shopping is good, except some stores are too high end. I don't find it good for the cheaper women's clothing like forever 21 style type of clothing. Macy's could use some updates too.
Although it's heavily under construction, the mall still offers a pleasant atmosphere. The music and decorations are well coordinated, but the variety of stores is lacking, with many of my favorite stores missing. It definitely careers to a more affluent customer base, with more emphasis on female focused stores and dining options. The parking is very inconvenient, but the construction will supposedly improve that.
Westfield UTC is more upscale of La Jolla. I love to come here with my daughter. Great shops and stores plus Food Court, it has basically everything like a 24 hour Fitness. I like the fact there is a ice skating rink enclosed by the Food Court. Now, Arclight Cinema is there, now. I have been there with my son. It is expensive but I love the service they provide, plus comfortable cushioned theater seats.I will got to go back again. You will spend a lot of money there which I have. It is a shopper's dream.
Classy and upscale mall. Great environment to walk around to window shop, actually shop, and grab a bite to eat. Another big draw: the Amazon store. Keep in mind that there's only two Amazon stores in the U.S. Free music entertainment during the day. Although there's construction, it isn't a huge inconvenience. I'm expecting a ton more stores soon after they finish the construction.
One of my favorite malls in San Diego. Great atmosphere and food selection in the food court. There is currently construction at the mall. My understanding is that there is going to be a Trolley stop here in the future making it even easier to visit. Highly recommended
Lots of great stores have been coming here for years. It is currently being renovated lots of construction going on. Parking is a headache tough especially around the holidays. The food court is awesome lots of good options I come here all the time when we all want to eat a different food option for dinner or something!
