Good number of choices and lots to see around the mall. However always busy. Food options have improved in recent years. Shake shack is a nice addition
A very nice mall. It's an "outdoor" mall, so be careful in the winter, but they have a great selection of stores, and they've recently done a lot of remodeling/construction, so everything is very nice and new. There are a lot of great restaurants here. Parking can be a nightmare though - just go to one of the garages and be done.
This is a very nice outdoor mall. The shops and restaurants seem to be more for expensive tastes. High end names, like Coach, Macy's, Bloomingdales, etc are what you'll find here. It's a beautiful mall but tends to get extremely busy easily and has a LOT of teens who come from the high school across the parking lot. They offer a small playground and you can pay for your child to ride their train. In colder temperatures they offer a very small ice rink.
Some nice stores here, you can get a lot of your holiday or gift shopping done here in one pass. Be sure to dress warmly in the Autumn to spring as it is an outside mall. In the summer it's a beautiful place just for walks there are area for kids to play in. A fish pond to relax near a fountain to sit at and many other small nuggets to be found in this mall.
Fantastic mall. A million options and really great with good weather since its mostly outdoors. Downside? Its an outdoor mall. Can be great and can be not so great. But overall one of my favorite malls ever.
I'm so sad they got rid of Johnny Rockets and now some weird healthy place has taken over that spot. Still, I've been coming to this mall for years and it's been changing a lot. The Barnes & Noble here is my favorite, and I also just enjoy this mall in general. It's outdoors, though, so probably not a good place to go on a rainy day.
Workers were rude to a lot of people including teens and young adults (with or without parents). It would not be worth it to admire such rudeness while having to deal with massive and extensive crowds at the same time constantly. I would generally say that this would actually deserve half a star. In a department store like Macy's however, I did somehow manage to have an objective and attentive person help me out after long period of searching. Thus on the department store side of the mall, I would upgrade to one full star would finally be deserved here. This good thing could happen at least, but it will take a lot searching for that to happen.
I've been coming here my entire life, and they've done a great job maintaining and updating it. Plenty of parking with an upbeat feel. Lots of shopping and eating options too. It never looks in disrepair and never seems depressing like some other malls whose heydays are long gone.
Old Orchard Mall has to be my favorite shopping place on the planet. Maybe that's an exaggeration but it sure is a lot of fun to walk around the mall here. Since the venue is outdoors, it's a great place to take a walk and get some air. I am also highly fond of the various restaurants here. Wonderful place.
A great outdoor mall. A lot of nice stores and sitting areas as well. It was a cooler windy day but being there around noon you get plenty of sunlight to keep you warm. The place is pretty spotless and there is plenty of room to walk around and not bump into people.
I hate going to the mall, but this location makes it waaaaaayyyyless stressful by having an open air layout that let's you quickly access whatever your going for. Ample parking and I actually really like the giant heat lamps they have outdoors. One evening my husband and son went shopping and I enjoyed a solid 45 minutes reading a book outdoors in thirty degree weather while keeping warm and toasty!
All the best stores! A beautifully landscaped and architecturally designed outdoor shopping mall with the most vibrant stores found anywhere. The Maggiano's there has the best chef of the 3 that I patronize. Barnes & Noble, an exciting list of restaurants, coffee, tea and snack shops, and plenty of convenient parking. So beautiful in the evening too. 2 small play areas for the kids and they have a concert program in the summer. Shopping and entertainment. A great place to spend part of your weekend.
Had to stop by for a reset of my father's phone at the Apple store. If you like walking this place is for you. The layout of the mall is very organized and there are maps to help you around. If you get lost, just use google maps :D
Some stores actual locations could be updated for better accuracy. Also, big box department stores should be on gMaps in order to be able to find what you're looking for before you get there.
So much has changed since I last visited when I was a child. The mall seems to have added a lot of new stores and it seems more modern now. Very well done and worth a trip if you need some shopping done.
