Solid mall. Great place for people with children! I regularly hang out with my nieces at the play area, and they love it! Big name stores, plus some that are smaller. The food court needs some more healthy options. Would be nice to have more options than fried food or salad if you don’t want to sit down at a restaurant.
I stop here every time I am in Madison. I enjoy walking the mall and swinging into a couple of the stores. What I really enjoy is a meal at the food court. There a several choices of great Wok prepared food. If I am in Madison for more than a couple of days, I stop in here a couple of times for dinner.
A fine collection of middle to moderately higher end clothing, furniture and goods. It is a nice place to bring young children if you're looking to buy them a snack and let them play in the children's area. Great for ages one to four.
Very nice shopping center. Great selection of stores, but if there's something u can't find, it's likely that it's in the surrounding area. The food court could be a little better but there's plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity as well. Overall excellent experience.
West Towne is trying to get back to what it use to be back in the day. Remodel is going on currently. It is a clean well lit mall. Lots of parking. Food court is small with places only staying for a few months. Good anchor stores like Boston Store and Dick's Sporting Goods. Online shopping has taken it's toll on this once proud mall. Still a lot of of places to choose for food. Nice play area for younger kids. Apple Store is always popular. There are good places to shop you just need to be savvy and patient.
Good place for some major retailers, and of course cheesecake factory. It lost the apple showroom to Hillsdale mall which is a bummer. I liked to hangout at the store everyone I went there.
I love West Towne - especially since they have shops that East Towne doesn t have. Only down side is, like Hilldale , some of the shops are a bit pricey. But they're very nice, so there is a trade off.
Personally, we're not a fan. The stores are not really ones we're that interested in, and the lot sizes are small for most of the stores. It's also kind of a strange shape. Every time we've gone here for something, we've left empty handed. It's clean and easy to park though.
Another successful trip to one of my favorite places. Thank you for all your help and patience. I love it all. Also a special thanks for your help with replacing one of my pieces. Respectful, kind, helpful staff😊
With the Boston store, and their large Ralph Lauren department, always a sale, and when they have a sale, it's bargain hunters delight!Another store named "BUCKLE" if you are tall and thin like I am 30/34 they have a great store for us tall thin guys! They realize that not everyone has to be a 32/34 ( if your lucky to find that in other stores. It's a great store for all tall and thin guys! They sell age appropriate jeans for guys (I'm 53) who are still hip in their jean style!
Apple is in the mall as is coach and other higher end specialty stores like Williams Sonoma!
Good variety of places, from Cheesecake Factory, to Apple Store, to Eddie Bauer (and the regulars like Boston Store and Victorias Secret). Kids always seem to have fun in the play area. Bathrooms are normal mall bathrooms and parking lot has some bumps, is usually busy, but does have some expecting mother parking. Also public roads around the mall can be tricky to get in and out. Its nice that there is a Kohls, Best Buy, and grocery store just across the way. (Personal note: I wish there were places in the mall friendly to breastfeeding mommas.)
Good variety of stores at different price points. Decent selection of food. Best part about this mall is the free kids play area. Love it!
Really great mall. Its the only place i can go to get my favorite coffee because the coffee place closed in the mall close to me. Everything is nice and clean and they have a good selection of stores. I really like that there is aplay area for kids so that parents can have a little relaxation when they are out shoppi g with young children.
Definitely something for everyone. There could be more healthy food choices in the food court. I do feel security needs to tighten up being there are several high theft stores in the mall.
As malls go, it's OK. It's certainly better than Madison's East Side counterpart. The food court has gotten worse over the years but I assume that's at least in part due to over priced leasing. There are a few other more full scale restaurants that have moved in that kind of makes up for that, but they're overpriced for what they are. They could use a little bit more diversity in the retail stores but it could be worse. As you may be able to tell, malls are not really my thing. But as malls go it's a pretty good one.
