  Although this camp is no longer functioning, I thought I would still give it a review (that is long overdue). This camp was life changing. I met the greatest people I would have never met if it was not for this camp. I created countless memories in the nine weeks that I was at camp, and I got amazing results because of Wellspring Florida. The staff was incredible, they poured their hearts and soul into this job and it really showed. Even when there were some days that were tougher than others (can never predict that Florida weather ya'll).
  
  I was also lucky that I was able to be in a mentor role during my time at Wellspring Florida. (Which was done through an application + interview with the camp director for camp alumni). The role allowed me to stay determined and help others who were going through tough times such as homesickness, and trying to feel good after a bad weigh-in.
  
  I do not know of any other way I would have lost 50 pounds in that nine week stay without the dedication and encouragement of the staff.
  
  The program put you on a college campus and you were away from everything that causes you to be unhealthy. No phones, no TV, no social media, no computers. That way you are not consumed by the technology and to get through the day - you go outside. But that was also the best part, because you knew that everyday had something new in store.
  
  Although camp ended awhile ago for myself, nothing helps keep me on track more than my good ole SMJ and fitness tracker.
  
  Thank you for such an amazing summer, it will always be one that I remember.
