I had to visit this place for an issue I had to deal with. I love their customer service however, it is not the branch but the company's policies that make it this bad of an overall rating. They are not very helpful when it comes to returning money back to you when an incident or mistake happens.

As far as the branch itself, I think the employees in this establishment on 1st and market are very helpful as much as they can be without company policies hindering the amount of help they can provide. I would have given them a 5 start but the minus 1 is for the policies their mother offices make. It really ties the hands of the employees in this branch and there is less they can do for you when this happens but it is not their fault, it is corporates'.

This professional establishment is anything but that.
A week ago I entered to open a new account and was told a discrepancy was posted to me and would need an approval to open a new account. I was told I would receive a call back the next day as to when I should come in. Not only did I not receive the call, after calling 5 times I had to express my frustration before I was able to speak with a banker that knew anything about my case.
Upon arriving to speak with that banker 3 days later I was left waiting to be assisted for 20 mins while all bankers were talking amongst themselves.
Absolutely unprofessional, to think this is an establishment in charge of anyone's money is a terrifying thought.

This place has really poor customer service. Went in there today to get a temporary card since I had lost my original one and I went up to the front where the bankers were at. No one was in the waiting line and I asked to speak with someone about getting a temp card and the gentleman said the lady was on her way out. Yes she was although she looked at me then ignored me and a couple of people that were in a suit and tie she saw. For almost an hour I was not even acknowledged until I said something to another woman. Then the whatever an excuse for a manager came out and started talking to a gentleman that had just walked in. I was really irritated and confronted her and were argued and all. However I finally got what I came for in the first place. A stupid temp card almost one hour later. Really over an hour wait for a 5 minute process. You got to be kidding me. Talk about a need in new management or higher more people to help out with issues like this. Really poor service. Glad I'm finally out. What a joke.

For the last 12 months this branch has completely lost all my patience and tolerance. Andrea and one other teller are the only 2 worth any merit at this branch.

As a business customer I go in every month for deposits and cash withdrawals and pay our business CC (in full). Card is in my wife's name. i am not on the account. But I know darn well I can pull money from my business account and pay the business card, wether it is in my name or not. I do not need to know the balance or anything else, just needs to be paid in full to avoid late fees and interest.

Was told today when I tried to pay they would NOT take payment! Yep. Been paying it this way for the last 18 months since we got the card. First told by one of the bankers that sits at her desk and then she confirmed with the branch manager who also told her they would not take my payment.

Went to B Street branch. Went to a teller and they processed the payment. Talked with the branch manager and teller both confirm that they had no idea why they wouldn't take the payment and why the manager at this branch would even say something like that.

Called the 800 number at WF and asked them. Again no idea why the banker and manager would not process the payment. I can pull money from my account and pay anyone's CC. Especially if I have a valid ID, my debit card and Pin and the CC number much less the CC itself.

Bottom line I go to the B street branch, and I am now confirming that the manager at the 1st Avenue branch is a flat out idiot that has no business managing that branch or managing anything for that matter. Perhaps some more WF training and reinforcement of "Courtesy" that is plastered on every WF branch might be a good start. Perhaps common sense and logic might be useful too.

Did I mention they are slow as hell now?

There are 2 people to salvage from this branch. Andrea and another young teller with long black hair.

First step is to fire the manager that is there now.

I was only here on vacation. They seemed pretty nice. The transaction was fast and easy.
