Check engine light went on for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Took it into Webb Hyundai in Highland a few weeks ago. The diagnosis was the same as an error I received about a year ago which was an emissions leak. They addressed it a little over a year ago with a new gas cap, and most recently honored the one year warranty even though it was a little over a year. No charge. That's how you stand by your product, and the folks that work there are very pleasant to deal with. Also, the lounge is nice--I can hang there all day. One little quibble is the coffee maker didn't work very well.
I just purchased a car from here. Cameron Laird was my sales person. He was great. He was was very knowledgeable about the car and it features. He is very personable but not pushy. I test drove many different cars. He was my favorite sales person and I had the best test drive experience with him. He is very easy to deal with and very respectful of my time. After I purchased the car he was happy to show me how to set up all the features. He explained everything so I could understand it easily. I would strongly recommend him and the Elantra. I love my car and my experience at Webb Hyundai.
.
Thankful for all who serve and have served to protect our liberties. Especially grateful to have our Son home for good after 3 years in Japan.
He's wanted to purchase a mini cooper once he returned Stateside. He found a decent deal on a used mini at a non-mini dealership and drove it home, only to find it in a puddle of oil and coolant the next morning.
Barely made it to an actual mini dealership close to him to find $3K worth of repairs needed just to make it driveable.
Thank you Webb Hyundai of Highland, IN for deserting one of our Veterans upon his return from duty to sell him a lemon. If this is how you treat Veterans, I'd hate to see the way you treat the general public.
I went in open minded but I wasn’t sure if I was really buying a car or not. I met with Greg Gents. I was half expecting that maybe I was going to get the “sales experience” but Greg was super cool chill and laid back (which is how I like to be also) we went for the test drive and he even asked if I wanted to drive longer but I was fine and said it wasn’t necessary. We got back from the test drive and he offered me a beverage of my choice (I brought my own) still a very nice gesture. If your looking for a new car pop in and ask for Greg he won’t steer you wrong.
Leaving from Chevy to Hyundai is a completely different experience. I’m used to slow customer service and less than enthusiastic salesman. But Webb Hyundai of Highland was smooth and simple. I had a great experience. I found what I was looking for quickly & the process of sale was easy. I am extremely satisfied with my vehicle and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. I’m definitely coming back in the future!
Great experience, especially from Milt. Took care of everything and went over everything with me.
We called on a 2015 Sonata that had the mileage listed at 16,885 they confirmed they had the car. We decided to purchase, and after a long 21/2 hours was finally on our way. We were called back because they forgot to put the paper plate on the car. Then we noticed that the car has 19,880 miles on it not what was stated. We were told it doesn't matter!! REALLY and extra 3,000 miles and it doesn't matter. They would do nothing. I asked if they could at least give us some floor mats for it (it came with none REALLY on that too). Now this morning I notice that the oil was changed at the 16,885 mileage point and its a 1,000 miles over due one an oil change (again REALLY). Also this morning my key fob say its low on battery. LOOKS LIKE A SOMEONE TOOK THIS ON A 3,000 MILE JOY RIDE. They sure didn't seem to care they had falsified the odometer statement for the BMV. Makes you wonder what else!!!
Horrible service. I was told that the car I was interested in had no mechanical issues and drives fine (over the phone). When I arrived to test drive, the car was not at that dealership and I was told that the engine motor was blown. I will not waste my time here again.
Always taking good care of my car. Best service!
My sales person Joe Salas was awesome, we traveled from three hours away for a Mini Cooper for my wife and he had everything already set up for us, Joe is very professional and just an all around nice and trusting guy. I would not hesitate to make the trip again when we are in the market again for a vehicle. Just a great overall experience, best I've ever had purchasing a vehicle, including the finance department.
Check engine light went on for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Took it into Webb Hyundai in Highland, and right off the bat charged $130 to diagnose. Should have left right there but wanted to get it addressed in case it was a serious issue. Turned out to be a leaky gas cap, so adding $22 for the new cap turned out to be a $152 bill. What a rip. The people were pleasant to work with which is why I gave two stars instead of one.
I’m not a complainer but, at this point the service I have received has pretty much burned me on ever wanting to visit Webb Hyundai again. I work in customer service, I listen to complaints all day and for the most part I take things with a grain of salt. Believe the reviews you see. I took my car to Webb Hyundai for a repair, I have a ‘12 Elantra Touring just under 106k on it, and it was possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve had dealing with a shop. My car has intermittent starting issues, a common Elantra problem for this year, and my normal mechanic couldn’t do a diagnostic to find the problem. They suggested taking my car to the dealer. I made the mistake of picking this one. My first day there, Friday March 24th at 7:30, I dealt with Katie. I brought the car in for a diagnostic and had made an appointment online, online it quotes an electrical diagnostic at $110. When I brought the car in Katie said it would be $130.
I should have left then. She quickly followed it up with that if the repair is done there that is waived. I said ok and left the car. My car is currently under an extended warrenty so I was planning to have the work done there anyway. I got a call around 10 that the mechanic had run a diagnostic and that I had a battery fail and various other extreme problems with my car. She ran through the issues and assured me that the battery replacement would solve the intermittent start issue, she also convinced me to change my engine timing belt and redo my rear brakes and rotors at the same time, they were a safety issue and the timing belt could fail and void my warrenty. All of these repairs were considered maintenance so NONE of it was covered by my warranty. I paid out of pocket over $1000. This was not all of the repairs she suggested. I ok the work after she gives me a $100 off coupon and am told the car would be ready later that day. She also suggested that I come back in because they offer repair financing. I came back in and she ran through the repairs with me again and quoted me $984 plus tax. Around 3 that same day I received another call from Katie that she had not included the battery replacement in my quote and that it would be an additional $100 for that. I told her no, what she gave me a quote for included the battery. I saw it on the paperwork that she had drawn up and she backed down and honored the quote. Finally around 8 I picked up my car paid the $1045 bill and choked the whole thing up to being naive and not being more attentive. Today, Monday March 27th I went out to my car to go to work and surprise! No start. I call the service center and I spoke to an agent that seemed to not care at all that I just had the car in the shop and the problem it was brought in for was not fixed. I made an appointment to bring the car in after I got off work. When I brought the car in I was told that yeah, they can certainly look at my car again, but I would have to pay another $130 for a diagnostic. I would also have to leave the car with them for a few days and so they can try to replicate the problem and they don’t have any loaners available. Funny thing is you google “my Hyundai Elantra Won’t start” one of the first results is a video that exactly replicates my problem and is a warrantied fix. I’m so disgusted at this point, especially when I look over the inspection they did and they note that I need a new plate illuminator. My plate doesn’t sit under the illuminator. It’s in the rear window because the plate mount is broke, also nothing was mentioned about fixing my broken hood latch. I will never return and am definitely looking into other service centers to handle both my warrantied work and scheduled maintenance going forward.
my first time here. I needed brakes bad and couldn't wait. The common theory that dealerships don't offer any better service just more expense than independent shops goes out the window here..great service, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. with competitive pricing and quick in and out. I have a 2012 Elantra, you'd of thought i had a genesis Thanks Josh. I will be back!!
Originally worked with Kathy and had a rocky start, tried again and worked with Chris. Chris did a great job and I ended up purchasing a car. If it wasn't for Chris, I would be giving this place 1 star.
I got my financing through an insurance company and the finance guy was extremely rude to my sister. He was arguing with my sister and told her she was unethical/didn't know how to do her job in insurance. He told me to come back ALONE the next day but I told him I trust my choice to finance through someone else and would not be coming back the next day. After reading reviews I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a bad experience with this finance department.
I initially went to the dealership looking at a 2013 Sonata, which was not there even though clearly featured online. The staff proceeded to talk me towards a brand new car, but when I was about to leave they had two others come and practically strong arm me into putting money down. I had to refuse and say no several times before he conceded and walked me out. The very next day their calling agency asked me to come back in because they had a new deal for me due to my great credit score and set up an appointment; however when I arrived none of them knew about a new deal and again tried pressure tactics to get me to put money down to hold the vehicle. Two weeks later, when I decided what course I wanted to take I went in and someone saw me immediately, I had a positive attitude and was ready to make a deal. The agent, Brad Bradford, brought out some numbers and wouldn't explain how he had gotten them, so I tried to do the math myself to which he exclaimed "nobody knows where those numbers come from, that's what we got accountants for". So I up and walked out. I was going to let bygones be bygones, but in the three weeks since then I have received two calls, numerous emails and each was met with a request to stop contacting me because I had taken my business elsewhere. Even still I would have let it be but just today a letter arrived in the mail saying that they had run my credit and told me I was not approved for a loan. I don't know why they were running my credit because they have not had reason to in weeks, nor why they would not approve considering at the very beginning they were so excited because of my score. Long story short, I found what I was looking for elsewhere with less hassle and within a more positive atmosphere.
I would look literally anywhere else for any future car needs.
