Very nice place for a wedding of course, but also a nice place for a family or work social. Very spacious and beautiful. The quality of the food was great and the service was well attentive.

We decided to go out this year for our Thanksgiving Day dinner so we chose Meyer's Castle. It was a great choice! The food was great and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful room and atmosphere!!!

I had my wedding here a month ago and I would not recommend having it here. I had many complaints from my guests regarding the staff and they were not helpful in planning the event either. For the money we spent, it was not worth it. They also charged me for aftermath damages, but would not show me a bill of sale for parts and labor. They have been ignoring my calls/emails since our wedding event.

We just had our engagement party at Meyer's castle, utilizing their patio and restaurant. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had from start to finish. Eva and Elizabeth were immensely sweet, accommodating and just a pleasure to work with in coordinating and planning our event. Both women (event coordinator & owner) treated our event like it was their own, and went above and beyond to help us shape every detail to our liking.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and the wait staff the day of were incredibly kind and helpful. Tara, Malcolm and Sandy, especially, were a pleasure to have with us. The food (and I'm a picky foodie) was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. And the setting at Meyer's Castle is so gorgeous that we spoilt for choice of backdrops with our photographs. Every one came out beautifully!

More than anything, we really appreciated the genuine kindness and consideration that was shown to us by the entire staff and the owners from our first visit through our engagement party itself.

I recently had my wedding at Meyer's Castle and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect, we received so many compliments on it! Eva, the coordinator, was fabulous! She did such an amazing job with everything and went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed, we loved her and the venue!

Meyer's Castle is a beautiful setting, however, the venue can use some updating/repair (ladies bathroom, and the lighting in some areas). There was no soap in the ladies room.
The catering leaves a lot to be desired. For example, the salad was served at least an hour before the entrees and the water pitchers were never replaced/refilled unless you asked.

Went to a family members wedding a few days ago. Was very excited being that I had heard many good things about this place. The experience was different from what I was expecting. Immediately after the ceremony, the guests were told to leave the area because another wedding was scheduled right after. Then, the guests get sent to a cocktail bar where the mixed drinks were served flat and it smelled like a sewer line exploded. Nobody could enjoy the cocktail bar because of the smell. Most of the guests ended up sitting in chairs in the courtyard waiting for the reception to open.

Finally, when the reception opened up, the room was beautifully set up and It had a nice space with a patio area.

When dinner was served, unfortunately the food was served on a very hot plate, however, the chicken and beef was cold, and dirty plates were stacked up on the table for quite awhile. Felt bad for the one server that was trying to deliver food and drinks and still clear the tables.

Over all, beautiful wedding, and was glad to be able to share the special day with family.

    Mothers day brunch

The food didn't taste bad, other than the previously frozen finger deserts from the food service company. That being said, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Yes I'm yelling. You will have a better meal at old country buffet and it will cost half as much. This is in no way a $30.00 a plate mothers day brunch.

    Totally and completely disappointed

Left several messages to get a reservation with the family. I have still gotten no response. Are they too good to reply?
I will think twice before suggesting this place to anyone.

Went today for my boyfriend's birthday and to be honest was disappointed. Very limited options on entrées, you don't have a choice of sides. Everything comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Service was not bad but it was the food that left us hanging. There was a family sitting next to us and they also had a very bad experience. They had complications all throughout their dinner. Almost raw chicken was served to their daughter and my boyfriend's steak was asked to be well done and there was still blood on the bone. Honestly wouldn't come again. Especially not with it being over priced for the poor quality of food.

The shuttle service from the parking lot to Meyer's Castle was just the beginning of a wonderful evening on Saturday, December 10. There were four of us in our party and the service we received was the most polite and attentive I've experienced in quite some time. My wife enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi and I had the New York Strip, which was cooked perfectly to my request. The salads were fresh and flavorful with the dressing was outstanding.

The wait staff was very personable and we enjoyed brief comments about the weather, the Castle, the grounds, and more. We will return again and take one of the tours.

All of this was made even more pleasant by the beautiful Christmas decorations, lighting and more. It was truly a memorable experience. The shuttle return to our vehicle as the snow was falling was very nice. I am sure Joseph Meyer would be proud of how his home continues to welcome guests.

We had our wedding at Meyers Castle and it was absolutely amazing! Eva was our wedding coordinator and she really out did herself with communicating with us and making sure everything was perfect. She was so accommodating with everything we wanted and even made great suggestions for the reception. Eva would check on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure if we needed anything and kept telling me to not worry about anything she had it under control and she did. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and fit with our theme to a t. The grounds were really kept up nice. Overall great venue and wedding coordinator. I wouldn't have changed anything.
