Weasel Boy makes the ONLY pizza I want to eat. Oh, and the beer is ok, too. (That should be read with a smirk. The beer is outstanding.) No cover charge for bands and they bring in some amazing talent. This place is such an asset to our community. I am flabbergasted when I run into a local who doesn't know about them.
Just in town for a few days and thought I'd check this place out for the name alone. Its so good! The selection of beers is fantastic, the food is neyond delicious, and the prices are SO good. If I ever end up back in Zanesville I will make it a point to come back
Great beer, friendly staff. Happy Hour 4-7. Paws up recommendation!
Beer is very good. Service even better. Plan your trip around this place- definitely worth stopping in
Stopped by on the way home from a trip to Gettysburg. Glad that I did. Weasel Boy turns out some very solid beer. If you're a stout fan, the Stoat Stout won't let you down. The pizza was very enjoyable as well. What gets them the 5th star, though, was the service. Our waiter checked on us regular, but most impressively worked to deal with the fickle quirks of my six year old son. Once we had our food he chatted with us about our trip. For what was supposed to be just a bite on the road it was an excellent experience. My only gripe would be about the interior. Could use some dusting where cobwebs have accumulated on some pictures and such, but that's it. Keep up the good work, Weasel Boy.
This place is your consummate craft brew house, cozy, comfy living room furniture and no TVs where customers converse and sip pints or sample flights in the presence of stainless steel vats. Proprietors Jay and Laurie take pride in their award winning brews and regularly schedule a variety of live evening music. Every town needs a gathering place like this and Zanesville is fortunate to have Weasel Boy Brewing perched in an old warehouse overlooking the Muskingum River. Quaint and way cool.
Interesting place. Had trouble understanding if we were in the right place. The decor doesn't really match the location and "kitchen". Beer was okay. Stay away from the wheat but the stout was quite enjoyable. I would give this place 3 stars, the decor and "kitchen" brought it down.
Update: I went here again about a year after writing the review. I beer was much better. What wasn't on the menu this time but the cream ale was very enjoyable as was the Scottish Ale.
I am only giving it a 4 because we had to wait almost an hour for a table. Even though it is St. Patricks Day.. when we got there she said we were next to be seated. When a table was finally empty it took 3 people 10 min to clean 1 table.. other than the slow service getting a seat the food was absolutely amazing.. a little over priced for the special but it was really good.
Great beer. Great pizza. We drive 20 miles and enjoy the atmosphere every time. The staff is great, the beer and food is awesome. We buy kegs here, enjoy drinking beer on the patio overlooking the river, and occasionally catch live bands here. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Cool atmosphere. Great brews. Good selection of local wines. Tried about all pizzas on menu and all are awesome
