Disappointed today. I had shirts made up in 2012 and through many washing they have held up well. So last month, Sept 2017, I had 3 shirts done in a very similar way. The 2012 shirts were from their stock. Last months were provided by me. The printing has last well over 5 years of wear and washing on the 2012 shirts. The 2017 shirts have nearly washed out. Root problem as I understand it now: 2012 shirts from their stock are 100% polyester. The 2017 shirts are 90% cotton, 10% polyester. The process works best with polyester or high polyester content shirts. Ok. That makes sense.
What is annoying is, they know this. The lady spent a lot of effort explaining and showing documentation. Her husband came out and agreed.
Why not warn me when I came in in the first place. I still might of had the shirts done, but I’d have and idea of what might happen when washed. Or I might not have spent the money.
However, they chose to take the work, not inform me of the risk of being washed out rapidly, like within 5 washes, and leave me without what I was contracting to be made.
Bottom line, they only offered explanation, no refund or adjustments. I really think they should have warned me that it was at my own risk to proceed. They took no responsibility not even agreed that they should have warned me.
No more business for them. No confidence that should another project be offered for them to do that they will advise appropriately.response / report this review -
