My Taurus broke down late in the day - called dealer and they arranged for towing. Dropped car by 630pm when service dept was already closed. Next morning the service manager Dawn Saraceno called and told me that they are very busy and will look at the car in the afternoon. Got there in person by 11am and the car was already in the shop, looked at, but scheduled for repair next day.
Dawn is an outstanding Service Advisor I have not seen many like her even at luxury cars dealerships- prompt reply, good work ethics, straight answers. On top of that she is technically very good. She explained me in detail the diagnosis and the repair cost I should pay. Dealership management should promote her.
Service dept looks short on technicians working on cars while others stay idle after the morning rush.
I wont ever come back for service here again. I've brought my brand new truck here several times for oil changes. Truck comes back filthy every time, dirty careless tech's. 200.00 oil change and they cant even put the sticker on the windshield and refill wiper fluid. 2 1/2 hour wait if you stick around. Your better off going elsewhere!
Where do I even start Bought a 2010 Rav4 - needed reliable transport for my work, my wife and my NEWBORN son. Paid $2.2k for a "gold" warranty just in case. The very next day I called because the transmission was vibrating, whining and delayed and the UV joints were gone and knocking loudly when turning the SUV. I rented a car (8 days) & they fixed the UVs but NOT the tranny. 3 days later it's worse. They send me to Toyota and then back to Lake Worth to WAF. Then I wind up in a loaner for a little under 40 days. During this fort night they change the torque converter on the tranny (that's it) and give it back. Only the torque converter wasn’t the issue. Less then a week later the problem (tranny slipping/hard vibrations/whining sound upon acceleration) comes back again and again it's worse then before. After 5 days of calling with no response I wait and wait 11 days later (post the initial 5) I finally just go in myself. First I get massively patronized by the manager Orlando, he wants me to rent at my exspense again. So again finally, another loaner now for 18 days (thus far) and I get a text saying they can't fix it so they asked the "gold" warranty I bought to fulfill its purpose and fix the issue. THEY SAID NO. They warranty company said no they won't do what they have been paid to do. And I QUOTE “it isn’t bad enough to justify the expense”. So now both @Ford and this warranty company has told me "oh well". Nice. Real nice. If this is how you treat customers it'll be oh NEVER before I bring business there again. Now tell me how your not going to fix my car like you SHOULD #illwait #acolddayinhell #EPICFail
Service department sucks. Ben sucks. They have you purchase extra warrantys when you buy a car and then try and do anything possible to get out of it when things go wrong. They are the absolute WORST. & Ben needs an attitude check. For the past 3 years dealing with him he makes women feel degraded. Acting like I don't know anything about anything when it comes to cars. I will member step foot in there again. I'm glad my maintence plan is up. Screw Wayne Akers!
I brought my service truck in for an annual DOT inspection and thanks to Dawn S. the experience was easy and pleasant! She helped me right away when I pulled up, invited me to relax in the cafe while the inspection was being done and just before I left, I mentioned to her that my Sync wouldn't connect to my phone anymore. She jumped right in my truck, scrolled through a couple of settings and had me connected back up in no time, and at no extra charge! I have just found my lifelong Ford dealership.
They hype a lot about their customer service but what about their pricing? Compare them to other Ford dealers and you will notice that you are not getting a DEAL like they claim. It doesn't matter if you're a repeat customer or not, they will stick it to you. We were there a couple of weeks ago, come to find out the so called internet special was no special at all. They will be higher priced in person or on the internet by $3 or $4k. Don't settle because they may be convenient. They are not the only ones in SFL.
I work for a auto parts retail store. I've ordered from them before and was told I'd have to be in person to order special ordered parts. I told them who i was and who I work for and told them I've ordered parts like this before. And i get a well you have be in person to order this. No problem have a good day. Won't be having my company do business with this dealership again.
I've been having my cars serviced at Ford Dealerships for the last 15 + years. I recently moved to the area and needed to have my car serviced. Wayne Akers is the only Ford location in my area. I had driven by, so I called to make an appointment.
When I arrived, there weren't many big colorful posters announcing the Service Specials. I pulled up and was directed into a lane promptly. Things went downhill from there. The Service Writer assigned to me was not available. I started with a different writer, but my original person showed up and I was switched back. I mentioned that I was taking a trip and wanted the car checked very thoroughly. No one mentioned the cost, so I asked if it was the normal $39.95 service and was told yes. My Writer didn't show me the waiting room or mention coffee or drinks. I went in and found a small unattractive waiting area. No one spoke to me. My best impression is cold. No smiling faces. No cheerful waiting area. No comments on time required. No mention of a drop off service. Nothing. I sat and waited for someone to tell me my car was ready. Didn't happen. When logic told me my car was finished, I walked to the desk and inquired. The woman handed me my keys and told me my charge was $50.79. I paid and went out as my car was driven up.
No one explained what was done. If something needed attention. Nothing. I was so surprised that I just got in my car and drove away.
At this point, I need you to know that my car is a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria with only 18,710 miles. That's right. Its like new. I have replaced the tires and battery. But I want this car to last for many years, and you can understand why I asked for a very thorough service with a trip planned to the Keys.
Finally, when I looked over the paperwork they gave me, it was not filled out. And I found work that was recommended but not done. And most importantly, not mentioned to me. I filled out the follow-up email and gave them a very bad review. About 6 weeks later I got a call asking if my service was satisfactory. I explained my poor service. She apologized and said goodbye.
I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.
Always a pleasure to visit Wayne Akers to get the parts I need. Friendly staff, prompt attention.. thanks friends
Bought a new Focus ST here, with upgraded paint. When I took delivery of the car, it came with a nice scratch down to the metal on the driver's side pillar, which they said nothing about. The salesman tried to fix it on the cheap and it looked horrible. They fixed it again and better results, but it is irritating to have to bring a brand new car in twice because they scratched it. I waited about an hour both times for the rental car. I was never offered anything in terms of product or compensation for my troubles. I would suggest finding another ford dealer. There are several others in town. Not sure they are better, but this one is lacking.
Amazing service! Was welcomed by very friendly and helpful Valet as well as the concierge! Great prices, free water and coffee! I will always do my Ford purchases at Wayne Akers Ford rather than any other Ford dealership! Keep up the good work guys!
