I like this place because it is a dive alley. Cheap prices and cheap drinks. Amazing fries,lol. If the place gets an upgrade, so do the prices. So please, if you don't like vapes or old carpet, do everyone a favor and go to Revolutions. This isn't a spot for upity folks!! And I'm sure you make "Normal" people feel very uncomfortable with your nose in the air just like they make you uncomfortable when they vape. Lol, get outta here.

It's great bowling I went here with coworkers for a work outing. While we did have a good time, there was a gentleman in the lane next to us who didn't like being next to us and asked to move. While ordering beer we had a hard time as well maybe it was the new employees or who knows what but some of my co-workers where not happy with the people getting the drinks.

PROS
The bowling alley is dated , like from the 80’s
But you can bowl for 2 hours for $24.99 plus shoe rental. The blonde woman at the counter ( forgot her name, sorry) was helpful , and did her job very well. Our lane was stuck a couple times but was always fixed promptly. At the other end of the bowling alley a league of senior citizens were bowling and there had to be nearly 30 people , all enjoying their league day
CONS
The only issue we had was the woman who was vapping next to us , massive clouds of smoke bellowing out of her like a 4 alarm fire.
We asked to be moved and the woman at the counter cheerfully obliged
Unfortunately my teenagers were not comfortable with the vapping woman or the group that came in to bowl in the lane next to us
The bowling alley itself is not the reason we will not return , it’s the atmosphere that the shadey people create that is a turn off

Needs a bit of a remodel. The place is old as dirt. The prices are decent though, which kind of makes up for it.

My kids like coming here. Wish they'd remodel, update the place etc. We enjoy coming here for family fun. They have pretty good specials.

If you are a league bowler this is the best place to bowl. Moved down from up north and hooked up with Verdes over 10 year ago. We wouldn't bowl anywhere else. This is a real old time bowling alley.

Great affordable bowling alley. Pool tables and arcade is also at a great price. 2 hour bowling special is a good deal. It is an old lanes but staff is friendly and helpful.

Bowling was fine but my family and I went to the arcade and spent 5 dollar the basketball game didn't let go of the basketballs the air hockey game had no air the golf game gave no prize for prize level amount of points the candy dispensers in the front didn't give candy and took money the claw machine didn't even close and guest relations did not give compensation for broken or not working games

Verdes Tropicana Bowl has great management that cares and they do things the old school way. Lanes are always perfect, machines never break, pinsetters work great. and they maintain their equipment. Bill in the Pro Shop has done great things with both training and drilling my balls that matches my style. If you're looking for a reliable place to bowl, eat, or drink, Verdes is the place to be. Reasonable prices and service is top notch!

This is a pretty decent alley. The outside looks worse than it is. Once you come in, there's clean lanes, a full food counter, pro shop, ball cleaner, and neat/orderly balls. The temp was comfortable, but not too cold. The prices are reasonable and for $25 you get 2 hours of bowling, shoes, and up to 6 people. Not to bad! I'd come back again! I'd just like some better beverages.
