  The guy repaired my watch within ten minutes. Polite and even gave me a temporary parking slip.

  Absolutely superb work and fair prices. I have found my watch smith in Richmond and will be taking all my pieces here.
  
  Also, the couple the run the shop are brilliant and lovely people.

  I had a great experience with Watch and Pen. I have a 20 year old watch that I took to a local jewelry retailer because it was in need of a new battery. The jewelry store told me they would have to send the watch to the manufacturer so they could replace the battery. When the manufacturer sent me the repair estimate, I was shocked. I was told there was moisture damage and a host of other issues that would need to be addressed. Their price quote was $740.
  
  On a colleague’s recommendation, I called Watch and Pen to ask for their opinion. The owner told me he would have to see the watch to be sure, but that he could probably beat the manufacturer’s quote. With that, I told the jewelry store to have the manufacturer return my watch without repair. When I got the watch back, I took it to Watch and Pen. David fixed my watch on the spotit just needed a new batteryfor $25! Unbelievable. He knew what the manufacturer had told me and what the price quote was; he could have charged me much more, and I would not have known the difference. But instead, he was so honest—that’s worth everything in my book.
  
  I will not hesitate to use Watch and Pen in the future, and you shouldn’t either.

  Would not return or recommend. While customer service was great over the phone, I felt very disrespected in the store. I assume this is a husband and wife family business. Wife polite and I discussed my concerns with her and she did listen. I was disappointed in how I heard the husband speak about my pen. I don't think he knew that I could hear him. Wife did offer the phone number of someone who could work on my pen. My issue is not with their inability to service my fountain pen, but rather the disparaging remarks about it. Still, option for fountain pen service are limited in Richmond and for some this may be their only option.

  I recently got a new watch and came in to have some links taken out of the band, the owner David was very helpful. He took the links out in only a few minutes and the cost was very reasonable. like most watches today it had many features that i did not understand, David took the time to enplane all of them to me, saying that my watch was a chronograph and had a stop-watch function that if left running would drain my battery. He was very helpful and i would recommend them. Mike P.
