Cool place to eat.. Nice water views, food is above average and locals do come here.. Novelty name, and a warm atmosphere, it's a good place to go with a group to enjoy an evening, the restrooms were clean and the prices were reasonable.

Excellent views great service. Exceptional food. I’m talkin’ some of the best fare I’ve had in quite a while.

The homemade Mac and cheese with brisket is excellent along with the salmon and Cobb salad. The service is great too. Love this place.

One of our favorite places to dine. Right on Little Squam Lake with great views. Pretty big menu with reasonable prices. You can eat here and go on a lake pontoon tour boat. Parking lot across the street.

Delicious food, great views, friendly service, and prices aren't bad. I had crab cakes as an appetizer and the elk chops with blueberry BBQ sauce for the main course. I would definitely go again.

Great lakeside dining. The fried clams we're outstanding and we were able to substitute potato salad for the fries. The potato salad and coleslaw we're delicious. We even saw a pair of loons out on the lake!

They have great food, and lake views. The staff has always been friendly, helpful and efficient. Food prices are very reasonable. They do get pretty busy during tourist season, but it's worth the wait!

This was my second time at Walter's and we couldn't be more please with our experience. We were a party of 7 for this visit and everybody was extremely pleased wit their meal. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared and tasted amazing. From the calamari to the nachos, to the burgers, salads, french onion soup, and seafood, everything was top notch. The seafood casserole had huge pieces of lobster and the macaroni and cheese was to die for. They even have the best french fries ever. The cocktails were worth the money and not watered down like most restaurants. The waitstaff was pleasant professional and attentive. The best part may be the view from the large windows in the dinning room that look out onto Squam Lake. We even saw our first loon of the season. This place has moved to the top of our list of favorite restaurants and we even have to drive over an hour to get there.

A nice spot with lakeside views. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from outside. Food is good and there is a decent beer selection. Worth checking out.

Walter's has been my watering hole for 15 years. Best haddock around! Food quality is top notch & service from friendly staff is fantastic! Love going for a special occasion or just to listen to live local music. One of my favorite places. ❤
