Went snowboarding here for the first time with my boyfriend in late March (thanks to some recent snowfall) and had a great time. Perfect for intermediate riders with its many blues (many of which were long, which is our favorite kind of trail). Also family-friendly, we saw a number of little kids riding and skiing fearlessly with their families. Conditions could not have been better--snow was soft and temperatures were just right. We even saw some flurries that night. Well lit for night riding/skiing and folks.

Staff were friendly, especially Tim who helped us with the snowboard rentals. He went out of his way towards the end of the night to give us tips and advice/guidance on snowboard equipment. We ended up buying some used snowboard equipment for a good price, which was the cherry on top of a great day. Only disappointing experience was with our initial lift ticket pickup from an outside booth window. The staff didn't give any indication that her system wasn't working for online orders so many of us waited in this line only to be directed in a bored manner that we can only do it inside, where there was another line. She didn't even try to help--totally willfully unaware of the customer perspective/experience. Super lame. But that was it for the 'needs improvement' (and the fact that the snowboard rentals were definitely in a worse space than the ski rentals haha).

Will definitely be back next season! And it really is a trip from Boston, which makes it even better.

This is not a bad mountain to snowboard at with the family. The only down side is that this place has insanely long lift lines. There are three main lifts for the entire mountain. This mountain has a lot of nice and easy slopes for easy riding so it is good for beginners. I would recommend taking lessons here too. They have and excellent bunny slopes and we had a very good instructor for my nephew snowboarding lesson.

My daughter and I skied Wachussett on 2/25/18. All the kids are going back to school and we practically had the whole mountain to ourselves. Ski on and ski off no lines. Condition s where good considering the rain we had gotten. Great place for some night 🎿. Just not happy with the $6.00 burger I had. Made to order but definitely not fresh off the grill. Other than that a great time!!! A little foggy also.

Never been disappointed. Great mountain with a great atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Struggling to return my rental and my daughters rentals after a full day of skiing. I was met before I got to the door for returns by an assistant. Went on a holiday and the mountain never felt crowded. No long waits and love the new lift ticket sensors.

After years of climbing trails on Wachusett, I decided to try skiing down. Thank You Governor Baker for Learn to Ski day. I went on the second coldest day of the year and had a blast. The instructors are great and really work with you. And all of the people are great. I've only made it to the Monadnock lift, but I look forward to more exploring. This is a great place to learn. Hopefully Mother Nature will keep it snowing and cold.

I skied here just after the mountain went from being a small T bar ski area area to a modern ski resort with top to bottom triple chairs and while a good small mountain with decent trails and good snowmaking and grooming,Wachusett suffers from the same malady as other ski areas in the region,it is too close to Boston and is just not a large enough ski mountain to handle the hordes of skiers from the city,it needs at least one more high speed detachable lift to the summit maybe a high speed six or something equivalent, the current detachable summit quad just can't handle the Boston crowds on weekends and the prices have gone up so as to be equal to mountains like Pat's peak and Sunapee that are less than 45 minutes further and have twice the lift capacity and more trails.

for the price, you could do,better, and if your going to say your open till 5 than do not start breaking down things at 430,not fair to kids in line.Had a ride say no more kids to my grand child than turn arou d and admit kids after she left line, not right

I have went here many times. This place is great to go to if you are a beginner at skiing or snowboarding. One issue I have with this place is that it isn't too big and it is probably made for people beginning to ski or snowboard. It has a lot of rest stops, big stores and doesn't feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, going down on a big mountain. Other than that, it is very nice and I have never had any bad experience here. Everyone is nice and seems great. It is not too far away from the city and is easy to go to. Also I'm pretty sure some kind of 4g or 3g internet actually worked on my phone which isn't too bad at all. I'm pretty sure they have a cell tower or something. This place is great for beginners and has many things to help them such as internet in some parts, and a great medical team.

Wachusett is a great place, and one of the few places in the area that allows Night Skiing. Food is great, trails are groomed nicely, staff is friendly. This was the first place I skied, too.

Nice little ski resort. They offer a military discount ad the lodges are pretty nice. We were there on a really cold night and the lodges were still pretty busy. Had a great time though.
