Very rude and disrespectful. I took my computer here a while back and when I got it back it said it had a hard drive error. So I looked at the hard drive and it wasn't even the same one. They had switched it out apparently. But when I told them about this they said I had already left the store so it's not their fault and that I must've done something to it. This was maybe 30 min later by the way. Maybe it was my fault for not checking at first but should I really have to check and see if a company has switched out and stolen my hard drive? I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star.

I am laughing as I read Shelby Shipley's rant about Krista von, the owners wife, or co-owner I should say. I know her and her family very well, I met krista 30 plus years ago and I know Shelby is full of crap. It sounds to me like a lady is scorned and has nothing better to do with her time! Maybe if you'd find something to do beside drugs Shelby, you can try to find a more effective way to hurt krista, as I assure you, making false accusations as you have aren't hurting her. Im surprised you havent found yourself in slander court. Its a sad day when people make up such lies and I know that is what you did Shelby, you know it also. krista has just advised she still has all the texts Shelby sent her regarding this layaway deal and what happened. Shelby you stink! You are a drugged up murderer and according to krista she found you annihilated on dilaudad at check into cash where she worked and she saved you from going to jail, way to thank a gal! If Shelby is a logo for Indiana, remind me to never go there! krista should have let your ass go to jail or even worse killed another innocent motorist.just saying the truth not a big false lie like shelby shipley left here..pathetic!

Each time I go into this pawn shop, I always experience Von trying to be respectful, helpful, and considerate in every way that he can. I will add that I would NEVER would want to walk in his shoes as some of these customers that come in can and are really JERKS!!!! If he has on what you're looking for he will show you. If not, he will tell you up front that he doesn't have what your looking for. You must go in to see for yourself on what kind of customer service that he provides. VERY RESPECTFUL !!!!

I put something in layaway with an agreement that my layaway could be 90 days since I only get paid once a month. I had given my money to his wife to pay for my rings and she comes back without them. She said she gave him the money, but he had to leave and she'll get it tomorrow. 3 months later I still don't have my rings and come to find out his wife bought drugs with the money I gave her.
He should take responsibility for his wife and give me my wedding rings that I paid for ($397.00 which wasn't suppose to be that much). Oh did I mention, she was staying with us because she was living in her car. Her husband and her got into a fight and he kicked her out or she left cuz of his drug use. Who knows, but God. The day she left I had caught her stealing my pain medication from my purse. So she packed her clothes and some of mine took my car keys and some other medications and left.
    Who does that???
