This was an awesome museum/garden to come and visit! I took my siblings here around 10:30am and they enjoyed every bit of it. I recommend buying tickets online so getting into the museum is quicker since they just scan it at the window. When we walked through the museum, all of the rooms had signs with educational descriptions about their history and some fun facts about them. Everything was neat and tidy and it was a pretty big museum to walk through. After walking around the museum we headed outside and then walked through the garden as well. The garden was maintained very nicely and there are many picture spots to roam around. Every angle of the garden looked amazing and many spots were also wheelchair accessible with ramps. There are also restrooms and water fountains at the corner of the garden. I recommend going earlier around opening time if you like taking photos since it got pretty packed around the time we were leaving. I'll definitely be making a trip back here to show my parents!

Beautiful landscape, unique decor and tons of history packed into this place. Lots of art decor and history. The complimentary audio tour provides a great selection paced tool too explore this marvelous mansion. Tons of nooks and crannies to explore. The gardens are breathtaking and beautiful. Between the main building, the gazebo, and the gardens, there is no lack of photo opportunities. Spent hours exploring and enjoyed every minute.

Very cool! I loved visiting. Beautiful home and gardens. Great info throughout with context on the lives of the family.
Very busy and kind of pricey at $25 per ticket. There were a bunch of older people who didn’t get the concept of a digital ticket so that held up the line, we probably had to wait 20 minutes for a process that could have taken 5. Maybe fire signage or a separate line for those that need assistance?
Also man, I got so sweaty exploring the gardens haha. More water fountains would have been appreciated but that might just be a me-thing. Inside the home was air conditioned which was nice, lots of places to sit and appreciate the architecture. It was very busy when I visited so we had to wait to read some info or see in to some rooms. We went on Sunday and we’re there around 11 so definitely prime time for this experience.response / report this review -

It's worth every penny!- Ticket was $25, and you can only buy them online. The villa was built in the 1920s and was a technologically advanced house for that era. The architecture is from the Italian renaissance period with a modern touch.
Exquisitely preserved and very impressive, this residence was established with the primary goal of entertaining guests.
Beautiful architecture and interior with amazingly well-preserved furniture, tapestries, and murals.
The gardens are stunning and magnificently maintained. Morning is the best time to go; there are fewer people in the morning, so I recommend planning for the morning on a week day to avoid crow.
Manatees were around the docks! We didn't do the audio tour; the information on the placards is good enough to tell the history of its construction and some environmental factors that threaten it today! There's a cafe shop on site, and the food is okay.
The walk through the gardens is pretty level, with occasional stairs. A dream place for photographers, art and architecture lovers, and history buffs. The villa has featured in several movies and is also a top wedding destination. Expect to spend around 1.5 to 2 hours fully exploring the mansion and gardens. The Museum closes around 4.30 pm.response / report this review
