The arena is great! Especially after the renovations. There are so many choices for eating, and while some of them are pretty pricey you can find a couple places that aren't terrible. We always visit CupBop when going to Jazz games.
The new seats are great as well; much more comfortable than before and somehow it seems like there's more legroom than before. For the Jazz games, there are tons of extra screens to look at for replays and stats, etc. The arena is great for concerts as well.response / report this review -

I'm disappointed in the remodel. The seats are pretty small, and hard to navigate around. When I'm spending over $100, I'd really like to be able to get to my seat easily. The sound wasn't amazing. It wasn't really worth the money. However, the new food shops they have set up are awesome! And you can definitely get beer every 10 ft or so. And they have a friendly staff. That's a plus!

There are a few options for food. The most popular option is bbq. The food is decently priced.
There are a few parking options around the arena. I would suggest parking a bit away from the arena. The traffic on the way out is the worst part of any event.
The arena is not just great for jazz games, it has great views in their event rooms on the top floor.
They also added a sensory room within the last month.
If you attend the arena for an event other than a Jazz game, the arena staff are so friendly and helpful.response / report this review -

I have been going to this arena since it used to be the delta center and let me say, it just keeps better and better. I love the remodel. It’s easier to navigate to the different stores, food options, and sections. It is always clean and sanitized. The users are very friendly and always eager to help with a smile on their face. This place is like a second home to me, it’s my happy place.

The remodel is amazing. The arena finally has the feel of a professional stadium. Great options on food and beverages. Pricing is even decent for a professional stadium. Clean atmosphere and the seats are actually comfortable. I didn't mind sitting there through an entire game. Normally your backside is super sore from sitting on seats that were not made for average adults, but now, you have cushion and leg room!

The upgrades in 2017 are absolutely awesome. One of the best arenas I've been to. The new seats are really comfortable. Their are lots of bathrooms and loads of new food options. The standing room areas on theb3rd level are a brilliant idea. Great area for folks to hang out with a great view of the court. Perfect if you have friends that arent sitting next to each other.

Since their remodel, the food absolutely sucks. I went to the Philly Cheese Steak place, since it's a venue, I expect it to be overpriced but for what you actually get, it's WAY overpriced and it's awful! I recommend you eat before or after you go. The newly remodeled venue is nice, seats got an upgrade from before, but the only thing that really made an impact on me was the food. Again, I only went to the Philly Cheese steak place, maybe others are more worth it???

The new redesign was very well done. It's so nice to be on top of the action, the way they have made it so that it you feel more a part of the game is nice. And the new seating is also well-thought-out. I also love that they have J Dawgs in there now; hat was a delicious hot dog and pretty well-priced, all things considered.

The Viv. Great upgrades. The new-look to the arena was needed and they did just about everything they could without tearing it too the ground. New seats are good, not great. New food is awesome, but expensive. New feel is very clean and a lot more modern.

New soft seats are awesome to sit in through out the entire arena, I just think the backs sit a little lower where you walk so you almost trip walking past people in the rows. Overall, great remodel. Not a big fan of the new food places on there but plenty of other options before you get to the venue in City Creek.

Great arena--Food is great and the Jazz are great. It is much much nicer than Oracle Arena. The fans there also make it a great atmosphere. Go Jazz!

I really don't know what's going on there since the Jazz played the Chicago Bulls.
As far as I can remember, it's been through a lot of renovations.
Last time I visited, was Disney on ice. My mom had a good time. I was board but seeing my dad and mom having a good time meant the world to meresponse / report this review -

Jazz games suck anymore. Not the Jazz themselves, but the atmosphere the arena provides.
What happened to our chant, "Go Jazz Go!"?
Also, the music is too low. I could barely hear Enter Sandman or Welcome to the Jungle in the 4th quarter of Jazz-Clippers game six playoff game Boring!!!
Get rid of the hipster image as well. Get Mean Jazz!
Let's get a U-T-A-H J-A-Z-Z chant going with all 4 sections yelling a letter.
Hire me and I'll get the crowd rocking.

It's a basketball arena. Been to many different parts and levels of service (nose bleeds to courtside). They keep it relatively clean. There are many different food and beverage options. They could have cheaper food prices, but what arena couldn't? Seems like they have gone out of their way to take out all but one drinking fountain. There are many different types of shows to see besides basketball during the off season. Easy to get to and find paid parking. Easy to get in and out of with big crowds.

It's always a great experience here, whether for sports or concerts. The arena is well kept and nicely laid out with plenty of amenities. It is easy to navigate with plenty of access. Parking can be expensive nearby for events but there are usually spots available within walking distance. If not public transit drops off right outside the door.
