Village Transmission has done extensive work on our diesel Ford Excursion. We really appreciate all the hard work that Skip, their diesel mechanic, has done for us. Kurt is great to work with, always helpful and gets up a fast appointment, is honest and upfront about costs and expectations. We would gladly refer friends and family to Village Transmission.

Without A doubt the best experience I have ever had with an automotive shop. The integrity this place upholds is astonishing, they treat the customer amazing (I work at trader Joe's and am very familiar with awesome customer service).
Their philosophy is "treat the customer right" and they do. Curt is amazing and incredibly helpful, he went so far above and beyond he even offered to pick me up and drop me off at home (since my car was there) also they have a strong promise and back their repairs and services.
To bring it all back around, If you live anywhere near this area and want honest service please give these guys a try.
tell them Christopher Lopez from Trader Joe's sent you over.
I promise you will be very pleased with your experience.

This was from my yelp review, but I decided to share here as well cause these guys deserve all the praise.

These guys are my life-savers! I can't express my appreciation enough for the amazing lengths they went to in order to get my car back on the road for me. Solid repair work and outstanding customer service that went far past my expectations for an auto repair place. Take your car here, you'll thank yourself! Huge shoutout and thanks for Ryan and all the work he did on my car!

I would highly recommend Village Transmission & Auto. I took my Tahoe to VTA for a complete diagnostic check, and was provided a complete report of everything needed bumper to bumper. I opted to fix some of the items on the report, but was relieved that there was no pressure to fix unnecessary items. They provided me with a loaner car, and their customer service was phenomenal. They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and I will definitely return to VTA in the future. I love supporting small, local businessand this is one worth supporting.

I came here a few times for diffrent fixes, like a broken headlight, and they were fixed quickly and at the estimate. So, when I needed the timing belt replaced I came here but their lack of communication about when it would be done and what was going on makes me hesitant to come back. I dropped it off on Monday and it was ready on Tuesday at 6:30pm, but only if I was willing to make the payment over the phone and had a spare key. I understand things happen, this time the tech broke the sproket to my crankshaft while trying to fix the oil "weep" but I wasn't called and told, I had to call them twice, once at 12:30pm when I was told it would be ready "later this afternoon" and again at 4:30pm when I was told they were just doing some tests, but not to come down yet. I opted for a Wednesday morning pick up so I could look at the bill. I did get a 10% labor discount but the sproket cost and labor pushed me out of the estimate. I'm fine paying more for incidentals, I just would have liked to be kept in the loop about what was happening to my car and when I could actually pick it up.

Went here because of all the positive reviews and left feeling like I was being taken for a ride. I was having an issue with shifting after just getting my transmission rebuilt at another shop. First of all they couldn't BELIEVE I gotten it done for so low somewhere else when I showed them the receipt. $350 later and all they had to show for it was a new set of spark plugs and they were SURE it wasn't my actual transmission. They also left me notes on my receipt about completely unrelated issues about my vehicle that I didn't have it in the shop for. These guys couldn't figure it out so they went around and nit picked the rest of the vehicle. They will bleed you dry if you aren't going in for just straight transmission work. Would not recommend.

This auto shop has been amazing. I purchased a car recently, took the car for a general review to see what maintenance issues needed to be resolved. Kirk set up the appointment, and Chip was the tech. After explaining in detail and multiple times to ensure I understood, we started w/ an oil leak issue. During the drip check test, the car broke down. I called and they were able to work me in immediately even though my follow up appointment wasn't until 5 days later. They sorted out the needed repair was due to a serious oil leak that cost more than I could afford. They worked with the dealership where I bought the car and advocated on my behalf to get the dealership to split the cost with me. Dave, the owner, also assisted at this point. Due to their efforts, they got my car up and running in a week. Can't say thank you enough to relay my gratitude. They kept me updated throughout the process and made sure I understood what was going on with my car.

I give Village Auto Clinic five stars for their first class service. I'd give them five more just for Kurt. His customer care is what you expect but rarely get. Thank you for fixing my SUV electrical issue.

One of the few auto shops in the greater Seattle area which has someone at the front desk giving customer service full time. The clutch went out on my truck and they replaced it in about 2 days and instead of scrapping some of the parts they were able to rework them which saved me a lot of money. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and they even let me go into the mechanics area and look at all the work they did to my car. Another good thing they do at village transmission is they call with updates, its just down right discourteous and unprofessional when mechanics have your care and forget to call you with updates, I was so relieved that I didn't have to hound to find out what was happening with my truck. I had a 5 star experience and I have recommended them to my family and friends.
