Loving Hut is my ultimate favorite restaurant to go for vegan food. The chefs and staff are very kind, and every single menu item is fresh and delicious. It nourishes my body and soul to visit and eat at the Loving Hut. Love, love, love it
The food was great. I will go back again. The service was a little slow tho. The mango smoothie and milkshake were amazing !
Excellent food. My non vegetarian boyfriend loved the veggie burger. I inquired about the slow service and a customer at an adjoining table informed me this is true vegetarian cuisine and for every meal to maintain all the nutrition, they make each meal from scratch. The owners have no prepared ingredients in the back. That's good enough for me and everything tasted extraordinary.
The Bad: The service is very very slow! You better have patience, because you will wait forever. Next time, I'm calling in my order before I arrive. There was only one very young waitress on hand, seemingly inexperienced, servicing 7 impatient hungry tables on this Thursday evening. Although here's where I forgive Loving Hut, when the food finally arrived, it was awesome. The spring and avocado rolls were totally scrumptious. My entree, don't remember what it was called, was a melody of crispy and tasty nutritious greens, rice, soy products and flavor, partially cooked and raw. And to top it off, the specialty dessert cakes, which I find hard to believe what they have written on the overhead whiteboard, which they say they are 'guilt free', were a extraordinary taste sensation. It's the most mouth watering cake I've eaten in years.
Okay, 5 stars only this time. Only because I've eaten in every vegan and vegetarian restaurant from NJ to NYC. Although the service in a city like NYC is usually very fast, the shortcomings are usually unsatisfying, very small portions of very questionable, as far as the freshness of the food, with ingredients that are not truly vegan, and the food is insanely expensive for the portions you get. For some reason, most likely economics, maybe vegans are not known as the best tippers, even in NYC, the waitstaff have similar shortcomings. The food portions at Loving Hut are medium sized and the prices (at least for a vegan restaurant) are very reasonable.
I was told the restaurant has been renovated in the last year, because according to the reviews, I didn't bother to even consider this restaurant, saying how dirty the place was. It's a cute, homey place and to my eyes, very clean. If I have to wait to get good food, well, in NJ, it seems you always have to wait for even mundane meals.
The worst service anywhere. The food is a tasteless, more expensive copy of veggie heaven.
Please do not eat here! The food is not fresh. The place is dirty. Deep fried greasy food. The service is lazy. Go to Happy Cow and where you will find more options for vegan dining. A waste of money!!!
Made four visits in the last month. 1 lunch, 3 dinner. 2 of those were to go. Noble Philly Steak Sandwich was had 3 times and it was exactly the same each time. Chefs special stir fry, Loving Hut Burger, hot pot, and all deserts were exceptional. Price is awesome. Restaurant is clean. Service is friendly. Highly recommend this location. Obviously it will please most Vegans, but i think many carnivores will be surprisingly pleased as well.

Delicious, fresh, homemade vegan food, moderately priced, in a friendly atmosphere.
Easy to miss on the highway, but well worth stopping in! Delicious vegan fair made in house. There staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They also make pastries and cakes!
They are convenient for take out or a great place for a quiet date.
The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is homey. Loved the experience.
My girlfriend and I have been dying to go to this place. I was so happy we finally did!! we have been to over a dozen vegan restaurants in NJ alone. This place blew me away on flavor and atmosphere. Very nice inside with a nice cozy feel. The service was great and quick even though when i went they were short staffed. We ordered a tea which came in a cute little kettle and it was a fantastic tasting tea(non- caffeinated one). I ordered the cheese steak which was the most amazing cheese steak i have ever had to date! My gf got a tofu dish with a cheesy rice which was great! we got to appetizers, an order of mac and cheese and crispy strips. The mac and cheese had so much flavor which is hard to find in the vegan world. Overall they are fantastic!! highly recommended
