This place is definitely reopened! As of 2/22/2018 they're bringing the best Vans experience back to Lakewood

I'm not much for brand loyalty normally, but Vans has consistently earned my trust and my patronage with their excellent customer service. I went in to talk to a manager in January about an issue I had with a product that was my fault. He was understanding and found a way to resolve my issue, and I was pleasantly surprised that he was both willing and able to help. This is not the first time I've been treated very well by a manager at a Vans store, and I will be happy to continue shopping here for years to come.

This used to be a great place to buy Vans shoes and clothing. It's taken a sad turn for the worse.
First: Get ready for huge tie wraps between the shoes so you can't even try on the shoes without hunting down a store employee to cut it off for you. Can you say, "GHETTO" ?
Second: No one has a cutter and you need wander around looking for someone who can actually do it. There may her one cutter in the entire store.
Third: The store is staffed with ridiculous kids who have no customer service savvy whatsoever.
We left completely frustrated and went to a legitimate Vans store at Southwest Plaza Those people are wonderful. If you like being treated like a shoplifter, or an annoyance, go to Colorado Mills Vans Outlet. Otherwise, spend a bit more for great service and the nicest stuff.
