Very clean rooms. The coffee shop there has fresh and delicious food. Close by The historic Mission and antique shops go visit the artsy pier if you like commercial fishing vessels make good pictures. The staff at this hotel are down to earth. I'll stay again.

This is diner food at it's best. This restaurant has been open 50+ years and I think some of the people who work here have been here since then. Good location, good food, and good service. I recommend trying the pecan waffle on the weekends, you won't be sorry.

Where do I begin! Room's definitely need to be updated! The carpets were so dirty I could not take my shoes off, and in the middle of the night when I had to get up to go to the bathroom I had to put my shoes back on. Our bed had sand in it. The pillows felt like they were stuffed with towels they were so uncomfortable. The ice maker machine was stuck in the wall right at our room so all night we heard the ice machine trying to read generate. Very loud very noisy!
The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. They had flat screen TV and Internet.

Awesome cleaning crew!! My dog loved the little grass dog area. Nephew loved the Jacuzzi. Good coffee in the office! Great price to be on the beach in Ventura!! Room w bunk beds is nice. We got a roll a away and slept 6. Great food within a skip away.

all day what more can I say. Could use a touch of modern renovation. A updated menu. Same chef. Same staff. Same owner. Same cliental. Same decent brunch. Really would like to see the woman who owns this turn it into something special

The price is definitely the right price. The room was very neat and organized except the floor was very dirty, everywhere. The pool is very well heated and so is the spa. It is right next to the train tracks so if you stay here, expect to be woken up at 3am from the horn of the train! 🚂

Place is a great stop if you need an affordable hotel within the downtown area. I found it comforting, and may be a budget hotel, but the staff was really friendly, the night was quite, and I enjoyed being able to have there complimentary breakfast in the morning. Was a very suitable hotel for a huge vacation. Will be back

Clean room, we had a family suite it was a great value for the price. Beach right across the bridge that ends at the Ventura Pier! Clean warm pool and friendly staff always makes the Ventura Vagabond a great place to stay.
