If you are looking for a luxury vacationthis is not it! There are no tv's or phones unless you bring your own. Most cell phones have a hard time getting a signal. And there is not air conditioning so if you go in the summertime you better bring LOTS of fans! HOWEVER, Vacation Lane is SERIOUSLY my favorite place in the entire world! My family and I are from Indianapolis, Indiana but we have vacationed in Ludington every year since I was 4 months old. (I will be 23 in April 2009.) We stayed the first few years at a resort within walking distance of Vacation Lane but once a spot at Vacation Lane opened we took and have been there ever since. We always visit from the last Saturday in July to the first Saturday in August. Some years we have so many people in our group that we have needed to rent 5+ cabins. Other years we have only need 3. I can tell you that as long as Vacation Lane is open I will be going. Even if everyone else in my family stops and I have to go by myself. It's so peaceful, and welcoming, and perfect!
