  Wonderful place to stop while walking the Riverwalk. It has some very interesting nostalgia.

  They have live entertainment on the weekends from 8-12:30. Open to the public and happy hours Sunday thru Thursday from 4-8. As an employee serving our troops and seeing them enjoy their events is an honor.

  Beautiful historical building. Staff was nice and one even have gave us a private tour and showed us the whole place. Very relaxed environment.

  It’s the oldest VFW in Texas and it looks like it’s been there for every one of its 100 years. It also has the best drink prices on the Riverwalk and the vets that hang out here are a good bunch. Nice place to start or end your evening. Also has free live music on the weekends and a huge kid friendly outdoor seating area.

  It has a beer and wine license. Open sky drinking. Located above riverwalk. Karaoke. Clean mens room. 6 beers in an ice bucket for $12

  We love the atmosphere, overlooking the beautiful riverwalk and comaradore of our military both retired and active duty!

  Great atmosphere. Cheap beer. The staff is always friendly and willing to serve. My grandparents frequently visited various posts, as my grandfather was a proud Marine. So it's an honor to take my money to Post 76.

  Quite a change from the old VFW 76. Place has grown and has lost its warm ambience. No one knows anyone there anymore.

  This place is very old and dingy. But, the history is worth the stop. This is the oldest post in Texas and the people that work there could not be nicer. They made us feel welcome. The beer is cheap and very cold!

  Just love this place. Hate the monstrosity they are building next to it. They better get ready for those late night music extravaganzas. Hopefully they are putting in sound proof windows.
